"Jab itta pyaar karte ho anokhi se usse...fir uss din usse itna hurt kyu kiya ..." Aastha asked while looking at shaurya, leaving him startled, at the same time puzzled by her question.
He was unable to look into her eyes as he was unsure of how to respond to Aastha at that time.
"W...wo...wohh..." His voice stammered.
He was blanked out.
Still he continued to feel guilty about his filthy deed that day.
Even though he never intended to insult her in any manner, he eventually ended up doing so.
He still continues to curse himself for such a thoughtless and shameful behaviour.
"Shaurya ... Mai tumhare jawaab ka intezaar kar rhi hu..."
"Kyu tumne uss din anokhi se esa kaha ... Ki woh -" Aastha voice came to an halt .
Aastha wiped off the unshed tears from the corner of her eyes while Shaurya turned to look at her with his misty eyes.
"Uss w...waqt mai bohot gu..sse mai tha ..." He replied honestly while looking blankly at the ground .
"Toh tumhe apna gussa nikalne ke liye anokhi hi mili thi ..." Aastha asked a straightforwardquestion, anger visible in her voice.
"Woh ac...tua...lly...nhi ..."
"Mera usse h...hurt karne ka koi in...tention nhi tha ..."
"G...gusse mai ho gaya ..."
"And believe me Mrs.Sabherwal..." Shaurya lifted his gaze to look into Aastha's eyes.
Wiping off the unshed tears , he said sandwiching her right palm between his hands -
"Believe me Mrs.Sabherwal ... Mai aaj bhi uss din ke liye bohot guilty feel karta hu ..."
"And I promise ... M...mai kabhi anokhi ko esa kabhi nhi bolunga ... Na anokhi ke liye na kisi aur ladki ke liye ...
"Ek baar galti kar di ... Dobara usse repeat nhi karunga ...."
"Believe me... Please..."
By the time both Aastha's and shaurya's eyes became moist.
"But shaurya ... Your act is still not justified..." Aastha said sternly looking at him.
"Maine kaha na mere paas koi justification nhi hai ... But I promise esa kuch infuture repeat nhi hoga ..."
"Believe me ...." He said softly not being able to look into her eyes .
