HALIMA

"What are you doing in my room?" He asked making me furrow my brows.

What did I come here to do again?

His girlfriend's bag.

Oh right.

"I came to drop your girl...."

He raise his brow at me.

"I came to drop her bag remember?" I asked not sounding rude.

"And dropping her bag takes decades?" He asked.

I shake my head. "No. I was about leaving" I said as I quickly walked pass him and out of the room. I let out a breathe as I rushed to my room.

I thought he left for work already. Geez.

"That's another money deducted from your salary for drooling at my picture"

What the fuck?

Don't tell me you are just getting that.

Yes!

Why is he deducting money from my salary for unreasonable reasons? How much is even remaining in my salary for pit sake? Ugh!

Yeah next time you don't drool at your boss' picture.

I wasn't drooling!

Denial,...

My inner mind sang.

Ugh.

God it was so embarrassing. I should sleep it off.

I lay flat on my bed with my uniform still on. I am going to be sleeping for the next five to six hours.

It's not my fault. The kids are in school. I have nothing else to do.

I close my eyes and was about falling asleep when my phone rang.

Groaning, I reached for it and picked it up.

"Hello"

"Halima"

I look at the dialer. It's sis.

"Sis! Hey! Good morning" I greeted excitedly. I missed her.

"Yeah good morning. How is it going over there?" She asked.

I pout. "Not good"

"Why is that" she asked and her voice sounds like one chewing something.

"My boss."

"Hmm. Not surprised"

"He is not so nice."

"Yeah he can be grumpy" Sis supported.

"Despite all his cuteness. How can one person be cute and grumpy at the same time?"

Sis scoffed. "Don't tell me you are crushing on your boos Halima"

"No! Hell no!" I blurted.

Liar.

"I am just....you know telling you how he is" I shrugged.

"Yeah right. Like he hasn't been my boss for years now" sis said.

I let out a sigh. "Guess what?"

"What?"

"His girlfriend showed up today"

"Isabel?" Sis blurted out.

"Hmm so you know her. Why didn't you tell me about her?" I asked.
