I watched as everyone arrived at the grave site I was next to Ichigos mother a woman I had never met but I was family to the Kurosakis.

"Yuzu, Karin" Isshin pushed the girls forward and they sat on their knees pulling out stuff from their pockets Yuzu laid flowers down on the top of my grave and Karin tossed some candy across it. She stood up and ran off Yuzu ran after she shouted her name

Ichigo took a flower from his jacket pocket and stepped around the grave to place it on my nameplate "Koto I'll meet you again one day I promise you." He stepped back by his dad who steps forward lighting the incense stick
everyone stopped by throughout the day leaving things and crying. I felt horrible I didn't say goodbye to any of them.

Throughout the day people I knew would leave things on my grave and say goodbye, teachers, and classmates, nurses from the hospital as well.

That's when the final people came up to my grave Tessai a man who had tried to help heal my illness followed by him Jinta and Ururu "kotoko i see you" Jinta vocie was snarky and proud that he spotted me hiding Ururu ran over to me and hugged my waist tightly head head buried in my torso, i could feel hot tears on shirt " I'm sorry little Uru i'm so sorry" I cried holding her tightly as Jinta joined as well "i'm going to miss teasing you Kotoko" he smiled up at me with teary eyes "i won't miss that but i will miss you " I smiled ruffling his hair "It was an honor know you ms Ukitake" Tessi bows " so i don't get a hug i thoguht you loved me that make me so sad ms Kotoko" Kiskue walked up "That's never going to happen you old perv" I glared at him as he came closer "Kiskue" a dark deep vocie said from behind him as the black cat jumped and scratched his cheek "OW!" he screamed like a girl and threw the cat "Yoruichi!" I smiled and caught the cat holding her and petting her
"i'm sorry i wasn't able to help you Koto " she spoke purring " it's not your fault i won't be in pain now"
"I'm going to miss you all!" I cried out tears streaming down the kids hugging me and kiskue joined in hugging us the tessai squished us all make Yoruichi scream

I stayed for a week after my death watching over my friends it was until a woman with red hair and large breasts saw me
"I know you?" she questioned walking towards me, I recognized her from 6 months ago "your Rankigu you were with two others," I said looking back at her my hair falling over my shoulders " how did you pass if you remember," she said moving toward me
"my illness, iv had it since I was born I wasn't supposed to live past infancy but I made it to 16 so I'm thankful" I spoke smiling sadly "You're a shinigami correct?" I asked her "you know about us? how is that" she looked confused "my family had a long history with soul reapers it was told to me that we had a family member long ago that was one before she left for a human life" I explained, " I'm here form the soul society there's been something drawing in strong hollows here and if I had to guess it is you." She finished looking at me sadly "you must know what I have to do" Rankigu said unwrapping her sword from its ribbon and keeping it in its sheath "I know and I'm ready to thank you." I bowed to her "When you get to the soul society try to become a soul reaper with your spiritual pressure as a spirit now you have that there as well" she spoke pressing her sword to my forehead...
"let's go I found the source and did a konzo" Rankigu spoke into the soul pager before shunting away

WEST RUKON DISTRICT
Tōshirō Hitsugaya was on his monthly two days off, he left with Momo once a month to visit their grandmother, Momo wasn't able to make it this month so it was just him.
"Grandmother?" He asked walking into the house through the garden "Toshiro! " she smiled brightly coming around the corner "I have someone for you to meet! I met her two days ago and she has only been awake for a short while so she's a little confused still" she smiled grabbing his arm and dragging him into the spare room "Kotoko my grandson is here for a visit and id like you guys to meet" She spoke smiling

Tōshirō was confused seeing a girl about 16 or 17 sitting up on a bed sipping a cup of tea "hi, I'm Kotoko Ukitake" she goes to stand but her legs give out and she falls back to the ground "I'm so sorry!" she panicked, her nerves were at an all-time high she had woken up just two hours before Tōshirō arrived
"My grandson, is captain Kotoko though you hardly know what that means yet" she smiled proudly at the little boy she raised "I'm Tōshirō Hitsugaya, you're a new soul here?" He asked
"I died a few days ago of an illness no one could cure, I felt so much relief when inside I wasn't in pain but from the moment I woke up it seems it came back in this life as well" she smiled sadly
Tōshirō placed the pieces together, the white hair, the illness and the last name even the smile she held."granny did she have any spiritual pressure when you found her?" he asked folding his arms "she did, I have that old bracelet you used to wear when you went into town " she gestures to the bracelet on Kotokos wrist "Kotoko Ukitake will you take that bracelet off I need to see something." He stood in front of his grandmother to block the spiritual pressure that may come toward her. Kotoko slides the bracket off the moment it left her wrist a strong spiritual pressure was felt Toshrios eyes flew wide open as he felt it, He kneeled and put the bracelet back on her quickly "Kotoko when you can  walk in the next few days I need to take you to see my head captain." He explains "so she was right, the soul reaper that helped me pass on told me my spiritual pressure would be stronger and that I should become a soul reaper" Kotoko explains as she stands up supporting herself on a wall "What was her name if she told you." the captain asked, "she said her name was Rangiku" Kotoko took another step this time it was normal "Rangiku? that's my lieutenant. I'm surprised she said that she's lazy and usually shops while she lets everyone else on the mission do her work" he sighed his brows furrowing at the thought of her.
"We leave tomorrow morning so work on getting some of your strength back I'm going to help Grandmother do some things around here"
He walked out of the room following his grandmother who promptly handed him a two-page list of things to do making him sweatdrop "thank you! could you do momos as well it's that second page" she smiled
"I could do some things as well grandmother" Kotoko spoke from the hall "you need to get strength back Kotoko" grandmother spoke "It would help me to move around so I don't mind" she smiled back at grandmother
Toshiro couldn't help but smile seeing someone being so kind to his grandmother

It was the next day when Toshrio woke up and went to watch the sunrise but was surprised to see Kotoko sitting in front of the garden watching "we must leave soon." he spoke coming to sit next to Kotoko "is that blood?" he sounded concerned
"it's mine, it was normal for me when I was alive" she spoke wiping her lip, "are you ready to leave soon to meet the head master "
