It was the next day and you were walking to Hammerlocke, the walk was far but you'd take the time to get a refresher for a second.

"Okay Shiinotic. Ready?" You asked

You reached the door to where the meeting would take place after a long walk, Shiinotic hid behind your leg and clung to it like life support.

"Don't worry Shiinotic, everything's gonna be alright! You've got me here!" You smiled

You knocked on the door and quite a beautiful woman opened it.

"You must be Y/N, come in. Chairman Rose and the other trainers were waiting for you. I'm Oleana." She said

"Nice to meet you!" You smiled

You walked in and immediately took a seat scanning the other gym leaders as Shiinotic hopped onto your lap and hid.

You knew who the Gym Leaders were but you didn't know they'd be that... intense? Leon wasn't a Gym Leader but he was the champion of Galar being the best trainer, Raihan was Galar's Dragon Gym leader also known as "Dragon tamer", Nessa was a model and Gym Leader who lead the Water Type gym, Gordie was the rock type leader, Milo was a nice Gym Leader whom trained Grass Types, Piers was a producer and the Dark Type gym leader, Melony was the ice type Gym Leader, Bea was quite the fighting type gym leader, Kabu was the fire type gym leader, Sonia wasn't a Gym Leader but she was about to be one of the best Pokémon professors and lastly Opal.

"This is my successor, he is quite the trainer!" Opal smiled

"As heard before, Opal shall be retiring. And Y/N here is the new Gym Leader of Ballonlea!" Chairman Rose smiled

"Hello Y/N! What's your Pokémon Team?" Milo asked

You've chosen, Milo is the kindest.

"I've got Shiinotic, Hatterene, Rapidash and Sylveon." You shared

"I've never seen a wild Hatterene before, I've heard they're pretty strong Pokémon!" Leon smiled

Shiinotic peeked out and looked across the room.

"I'm Sonia! Nice to meet you! I've heard you're a really strong trainer." Sonia said

Shiinotic got scared and immediately went back under, Raihan who was sitting beside you seemed intrigued by Shiinotic's behaviour.

"Is your Shiinotic shy?" Nessa asked

"Yup." You replied

"Y/N will continue to host events." Opal said

"Really?" Piers groaned

"I find those events fun!" Melony laughed

"Y/N will certainly make a good addition, I assume some of you do want to battle with him." Chairman Rose said

"I do!" Goride shared

"I'd like to battle Y/N." Bea said

Allister shyly waved at Shiinotic who just stared.

<^> 3 Hours Later <^> 

The meeting was over and somehow you had made it out alive with the goal to host an event, requested by Opal to not disappoint her.

Eventually you made it back to Wyndon and walked into your apartment.

You opened the door and took a long breath in.

"Never make me do that again." You stated

Hatterene made noises of amusement and went over to you.

"I met all the gym leaders, Raihan, Bea, Piers, Allister, Milo, Nessa, Goride, Melony, Kabu. I even met Leon, Chairman Rose and Sonia!" You said

Shiinotic immediately went over to Rapidash and sat beside her, Shiinotic hated that meeting.

"Gym Leaders want to battle me, Milo and Leon want to get to know me, Allister and Bea seem pretty mild about it, Sonia and Nessa wanna hang out together, Kabu really doesn't care, Raihan seems to be interested in Shiinotic and his behaviour." You said

That got Hatterene intrigued.

"I'll bring you next meeting, well, tomorrow you'll all meet them since I'll be hosting an event at Ballonlea Stadium." You said

"Sylveon!" Sylveon exclaimed

Rapidash nudged you a little and neighed before laying down beside the couch.

<^> With The Gym Leaders <^>

The meeting was ended but the Gym Leaders decided to stay for a little, Chairman Rose gave them permission.

"What're your thoughts on the new Gym Leader?" Leon asked

"He seems cool!" Gordie said

"I quite like him." Nessa stated

"I don't care." Piers shared

"We know you don't." Bea replied

"Allister?" Sonia said

Allister gave a thumbs up.

"I'd love to interact with him more!" Milo smiled

"I'm intrigued by him to say the least." Kabu answered

"It's a new gym leader, of course we're intrigued by him." Melony laughed

"Attractive?" Raihan answered

He was staring at his Rotom Phone most likely not even wanting to be in the conversation.

"Repeat that?..." Nessa said

"Attractive? I said it already." Raihan huffed

"Descriptive." Gordie stated obviously in shock

Even Piers was in shock and he's... Piers.

"Well, we have an event tomorrow to attend which will tell us a lot more! Night guys!" Leon said

He got up as his Dragapult followed him out of the room, everyone would be going home sooner or later.

You smiled as Shiinotic went to sleep on the couch, Hatterene came into your room to give you company though.

Hatterene stood near the door and seemed to be asleep already.

You got changed into comfortable clothes and laid down once more, this time you didn't think much of the Gym Leaders now that you met them. They seemed like a nice bunch of people.

You turned off the lamp so that you could sleep well, your room was dimly illuminated due to Galar's strong lights outside.

You yawned and ran a hand through your hair, you began to think about everyone you had met.

Raihan could very well be a potential love interest, Milo was best friend material, Piers and you would most likely have a relationship where one says I love you and the other says I hate you, Bea and you would probably work well together, Gordie and you seemed pretty chill about each other, Allister could be a potential new friend, Leon seemed to already be friends with you, Kabu seemed to not be impressed, Melony most likely thought of you as her child, Nessa and you would probably get along, you and Sonia could very well already be friends. How fun.

Shiinotic didn't want anything to do with it, Hatterene was interested, Sylveon seemed to not care while Rapidash didn't seem to be overly excited.

You went to sleep pretty easily after a good thirty minutes, you slept actually pretty nice tonight.
