The Story of Sarah Wallace (Season 1)

Season 1 Episode 8 - Our Baby

PREVIOUSLY:
Sarah agreed to give Eric a second chance to repair their relationship.
Sean worried for Sarah.
Marian looked over the hidden letters.

Sarah is sitting on the Doctors table as Sean paces the room and Sarah says "Babe will you stop it, you're making me anxious" Sean turns and looks to Sarah and softly smiles "Sorry Gorgeous, I'm just nervous" and Sarah says "Yeah, join the club" Sean walks towards the Doctors table and he stands by Sarah's side as he grasps hold of her hand and gently squeezes her hand and he says "It's gonna be okay Gorgeous" and he leans down and gently kisses her forehead. Just then a Midwife walks into the room and the door closes behind her "Hello I'm Kim, you must be Sarah-Rose Wallace?" Sarah nods "Yeah, just Sarah is fine" Kim nods and says "Okay that's fine Sarah. Let's get started then". Kim sits down on the stool and prepares for the ultrasound scan as she says "If you could pull up your top Sarah" Sarah nods as she pulls up her top mid way Kim says "I'm going to put gel on your stomach for the ultrasound, it might be a little cold" Sarah smiles as she holds Sean's hand "It's fine, this isn't my first time". As Kim looks to the scan and spreads the gel on her stomach as they all stare to the monitor screen and Kim asks "How many?" Sean replies "We have a Son too" Kim asks "Is he excited about being a Big Brother?" Sarah says "We haven't actually told him yet" Kim nods "Ah I see". After a moment Kim says happily "There you are". Sean and Sarah looks to the monitor and looks to the ultrasound scan as they grin as they see their unborn child and Sean asks "Is the baby healthy?" Kim nods "Absolutely" and Sean looks to the monitor with tears in his eyes "That's our baby" and he looks down to Sarah as Sarah grins and Sean kisses Sarah.

Eric is standing outside in the yard of the prison and a moment later, a male prisoner walks towards Eric. Eric simply nods and says "Matt" Matt nods to Eric as he stands before him and asks "So word around is you were wanting a word" Eric nods and says "Yeah, I need some information on somebody" Matt asks "Who would this somebody be?" Eric looks conflicted as he replies "Sean Wallace, I want up to date intel on him alright. I want to know everything, both business dealing and his personal life...I'll make it worth your while" Matt nods "Yeah you got it Eric. I'll ask my guy" and Matt walks off as Eric looks ahead.

At The Wallace Household, Billy is eating toast as he is sitting at the kitchen table when Marian walks into the kitchen and she looks around and asks "Where's Sean and Sarah?" Billy replies "They're at the scan" Marian nods. Billy swallows the remaining toasted bread in his mouth as he asks his Mother "You spoke to Sarah yet?" Marian shakes her head as she answers "I've tried trust me Billy, but she won't hear it" and Billy scoffs as he says "I don't blame her to be fair" Marian looks to Billy in frustration. The front door opens and shuts and Sean calls out as he walks into the kitchen along with Sarah "Only us!". Sarah glares to Marian as Marian asks "How did the scan go?" Sarah retorts "Like you care" Sean nudges Sarah "Enough Sare". Sarah looks to Sean and her angry facial expression softens as she opens her handbag and takes out the ultrasound scan and says "I got a scan pic" Billy stands up and approaches them as Sean wraps his arm around Sarah. Billy says "Let's see, I wanna get a first look at my little Niece or Nephew" and Sarah holds out the ultrasound scan out for Billy and Billy chuckles. Sean looks between both his disgruntled Mother and Wife and Sarah takes the ultrasound photo from Billy and says "I'm gonna go and visit my Papa and then pick Jake up" and Sarah turns to Sean and pecks him on the lips and she smiles to Billy and she turns around and glares to Marian and walks off "See you both later" and Billy calls out "Catch ya later Sara". The door slams shut and Marian sighs and Sean takes out his wallet and says "It's gonna be alright Mum, just give her time" Marian says "Eric is tearing apart this Family and he isn't even here" Sean snaps "No, this is on you and Dad!" Marian rubs her forehead in frustration and Sean shares a look with Billy as Marian storms off.

Sarah walks into a house and she calls out "Papa?! You in here?" A elderly man walks into the living room as he exits the kitchen "Well hello Angel, how you doing?" Sarah walks towards her Maternal Grandfather and envelopes him in a tight embrace and says "Hi Papa, you alright?" James Adams smiles to Sarah and says "I-I'm fine, I was just gonna make some lunch, you hungry?" Sarah smiles "Nah I got some lunch with Sean before the scan". James sits down on his armchair and asks "How did the scan go?" Sarah sits on the couch beside the armchair "It went great, the baby is healthy" James grins "That's great news Sarah". James looks to Sarah with concern "Are you doing okay?" Sarah giggles "Papa I'm fine honestly" James grumbles "I'm only asking because I know what you're like, you put up a front and you make sure everybody is fine instead of yourself. You need to look after yourself" Sarah sighs "Don't start Papa, I'm okay,Sorry I haven't been around lately I've been busy with Sean and Jake" James replies "Where is the little rascal?" Sarah replies "He's at school Papa, I'm gonna pick him up soon. You wanna come with me? He'd love to see you" James grins and replies "I'd like that a lot Angel" and the pair smile to each other.

Eric gets a visit from Sarah as he learns about Sean.
Sean arranges a Family Dinner.
Marian tries to make amends with Sarah.
