I opened the door to the truck and started the engine. I hated that I had to leave Phinn behind. I just want to protect him, he is very dangerous when he is around anyone in Nevengton Valley, he hallucinates and panics only when he is there, or so I thought at the time. As I drove I took time to appreciate the world around me, evergreen trees littered the sides of the highway and flowers were sprouting everywhere. There were also birds chirping and squirrels squeaking along. I turned onto the highway and drove for twelve hours back to Nevengton Valley. When I got there I parked the truck in a clearing surrounded by trees, I walked to the entrance of our beloved town and kept my head low. People were staring and watching me very closely but didn't seem to mind. The reason I came back here is because it was my fathers birthday, so Fred and I wanted to give him a gift he would never forget but Father dearest did something to Mother and now she is unresponsive and only speaks in tongue, or at least that's what Fred told me over the phone. Eyes were on me and my arms of course which I forgot were out in the open. I flipped a few people off and cussed others out, made my way to Nevengton Valley Hospital and walked up the stairwell. I went to the Receptionist at the front desk and asked her where my Mother is. "Room three zero seven" she told me and I nodded. My feet took me to the room and my hands came to my face when I opened the door to her room. The heart monitor was humming not beeping, humming not beeping which means my Mothers heart had stopped beating, she was dead. A doctor and her lawyer were there. Her lawyer walked over to me and handed me an envelope that was quite hefty. "Miss Kylee Rain Nevengton, my condolences." He walked out and I was left with the doctor. A Mortician came in and took my mothers body away. I had requested for her to be buried. "Doctor Simonth what the hell happened?" I asked with tears in my eyes. He sighed heavily. "She was poisoned Miss, I'm sorry that's all I know but if you'd like I cou-" I stopped him mid sentence and walked out of the room down the hall and out the front door.  Fred was waiting for me. He was wearing a jean jacket and overalls. His messy blonde hair was blowing in the wind. I slammed my hands into his chest causing him to collapse. "YOU COULD HAVE FUCKING TOLD ME MY MOTHER WAS DEAD!" I screamed and cried at him and he backed away clearly scared of me. "Sorry bitch but I'm not your damn messenger" He said with a frightened tone he then got up and ran away. Tears started to stream down the side of my face and anger, confusion and devastation all mixed into one big chemical explosion inside my brain. It was so much on me because I had just started to get my life together, get a partner and finally start feeling happy, but now for the first time in weeks I was having thoughts, thoughts of horrible things and scenarios that loved to play out in my head everytime I felt even an ounce of sadness. "I can't do this again, I can't hurt anymore. I need to be happy for Phinn" I told myself over and over until it was stuck in the back of my head. I bottled up these new emotions and stuck them in a bottle deep inside my soul. I wiped my tears and walked to my house which surprisingly was completely empty of everything except for one thing. Alcohol, of which I grabbed boxes of stacking them ontop of eachother and loading them into the truck. While I did this I saw a doll head sticking out of one of the many crates in my house. I walked over to the crate and wiped off the dusted over label which said ~T.W.O INC SMILE WHILE YOU CAN STILL THINK~ I rolled my eyes shrugging it off and getting back into the truck and starting to make my way back to Vapourish Valley. I drove along and stopped for gas, as I did so I saw a box that had a sign which read "FREE PUPPIES" I smiled and looked in the box. There was a male baby German Shepard and a female baby Golden Retriever, I grabbed the box and also a bag of chips for the road and got back into the truck. The German Shepard was for Phinn because he loved them and also I did miss his birthday and the Golden Retriever was mine. I had already come up with a name for Her. Clouds, because her fur may have been golden but there were cloudlike patches of white fur. She yawned and curled up to Phinns puppy which was yet to be named. I smiled and turned on some punk rock music from the early 2000's. Songs that really triggered my Emo side to pop out but since I was seventeen and didn't go to highschool when these bands were big it didn't affect me the way it would with other people. I sang along for a few hours and stopped at the same campsite I did last time, however this time I decided to make the shitty decision of pulling an all-nighter in the middle of a forest alone with barely anyone else around. All night there were noises that freaked me out so much so I packed up and left the campsite around four AM. When I arrived I knew Phinn would be asleep so I grabbed the puppies which were asleep thankfully, snuck into our room, put the puppies in a little makeshift dog bed and laid down next to Phinn wrapping my arms around him. I noticed an unopened package on the counter addressed to him, I ignored it and fell asleep. I woke up before Phinn in the morning, sat up and started playing with his hair. He cooed softly and I smiled and planted a kiss on his forehead. "Good Morning gorgeous" I flirted and he groaned a sleepy groan, I giggled and rubbed his back softly. He woke up with a small sneeze. "Bless you" I said softly "Thanks" He yawned and hugged me. As I hugged back I bit my lip "Hey I got you a gift look behind you" He turned and screamed "IS THAT A FUCKING PUPPY!" He suddenly had a huge burst of energy and picked up the puppy "I am gonna name him Bandit!" he exclaimed. I smiled and brought Clouds over to Bandit and they started playing with each other. "Her name is Cloud's happy late birthday Phinn" I said, kissing his nose. He grabbed the package that was on the bed. "This came on the day you left. I have not opened it yet." He said. I looked at the package. "It's probably a doll from my Father". He opened it and showed me "It's empty, all that's in it is a button, needle and a thread." He said kind of confused. I grabbed the things inside and examined it closely. The label on the button said DARZIN on it. "Strange" I put it down and grabbed Finn's hand and smiled at him "Ready to go lover?" I asked him. He nodded and got in the truck once again but before we left we grabbed all of our things and the puppies, we also bought some dog food and two leashes. We drove away from Vapourish Valley. About two hours into our drive the truck's engine stopped working completely and ended up totaling the truck without even damaging it. "Fuck!" I slammed my hands on the dashboard. We were in the middle of a very new location, a little town named Town, literally the town's name was Town. Phinn got out his wallet and counted his money and I counted mine. We had a total of seven hundred thousand dollars, enough to buy a house, which I took care of because I was old enough. As I took care of all the back payments and the initial cost, Phinn brought all our things from the truck, put them in a wheelbarrow, pushed it up a very steep hill to our new home, a four floor house with three bathrooms and three bedrooms and then he laid down on the floor clearly exhausted. It was a beautiful little house which I know Phinn fell in love with. After paying all of the additional house fees we had around a hundred thousand dollars left, not much but enough to start with. I locked the front door and looked around, the house was already a disaster. Phinn was sitting on the floor shuffling what looked like Tarot cards. I almost forgot the fact that I was dating a baby witch. I was a baby witch myself but I always practice even if it is just a little bit. He was so immersed in the cards that he didnt notice me cleaning the whole house around him. I had set up a little altar for myself and wanted phinn to see "Phinn come here!"
