A Christmas miracle

Chapter three

The next day, Holly was covered up but not too much from the cold.

Walking in the city's local market, carrying presents She was going to donate at the orphanage.

But as she walked in the streets she looked up and saw a couple wrapping their arms around each other, oh how they smiled it made her envy but it also made her sad.

Ok...so I know I said I don't have time for romance but I can't help myself...all my life I dreamt of love...it's all I ever wanted to have someone hold me like that to smile at me...to make feel all warm inside...I just wish there was a guy for here, he's out there somewhere...I Jaír need to find him.

But just them she bumped into someone.

"AH" it was Nicholas, he was on the phone, he held a cup of coffee in his hand while in the other one he was holding his phone.

He was call was interrupted when he bumped into holly and his drink spilled too, enraging him even more.

But as they bumped, holly dropped some of the presents and she tripped backwards.

Nicholas looked down at his spilled coffee, he growls, clenched his fish and teeth and grunts as he tries to hold down his anger.

Then he turns to holly who was picking up the presents.

"Hey...why don't you watch where you're going" he howled.

Holly ignored him and just apologized as she picks up the presents.

"I'm sorry I was trying to get these presents to the orphanage"

Of course out of all days I had to run into him, and yes I know I don't like him...but if there's one thing I learned from my mom is that you shouldn't give people your anger it'll only make them stronger, try looking the other way.

"Bah, what's so great about the children down at the orphanage" he snarled.

And as he had his head turned, holly looks at him annoyed.

Ok he is making it very hard for me.

Holly then gets up, pulling the presents closer as she tries to calm the beast down.

"Well they bring joy to your life and this kids really need so Christmas cheer now with the down mortgage and all"

"Ptth, oh please why do they need presents for, their poor enough already, it's not like donating anything to that dump is going to change anything"

Ok what is his problem, why does he have to make it so difficult.

Holly was about ready to attack him but in the spirit of the season and goodwill towards men, she decided to back down, she knows when to back down from a fight.

"Ok for your information sir...it's not about the gifts or money..It's about helping others and spreading cheer to the ones That can't afford a good Christmas"

But Nicholas just rolls his eyes to Holly's inspirational speech"

"Oh please, Christ is just a reminder how people just spend their money for junk on people they don't care about and things no one really needs, you can but your friend a pearl necklace and she'll only wear it once a year then she'll throw it out in a day, Christmas is a one time of year every people spend their money on junk food, cheap decorations just to out due their neighbors, a tree that they only need for one time a year and it's a year to celebrate one fat man who doesn't even exist!"

Nicholas's outburst got everyone's attention, everyone glared at the cruel grinch, kids started to cry and parents try comforting them while they glare at Nicholas and pulling their kids away.

Ok I would like to know what happened to him that made him hate Christmas so much, why dies he hate Christmas so much, he is such a Scrooge...one day I'll find out why he hates Christmas so much.

"So you see Christmas is a one time of year where it's the most miserable day of the year, it's the most loneliness day where you have no family to go home to and you waste money on one party that only comes once a year"

"That not true Nicholas, Christmas is a year to think of others and help those who need cheer and love weather they want it or not"

"Bah, what a much of hooey Christmas garbage"

"You know you could give a little cheer to someone, ill warm up that icy...cold selfish heart of yours" I insulted him.

And that's when he done it, he glares then he smiles sinisterly as he looks at the present.

"Sure I got something for the kids" he grabs one of the presents and throws them over the bridge.

"NO!" Holly was horrified as she ran, reaching out for the presents, she was too late, she saw it fell in the lake.

She grunts and hits his hands softly on the concrete railings.

Then while she was distracted, she turned to see Nicholas with the rest of the presents.

She saw what he was going to do, he held them close to the road.

"NO!" She tried to stop him again but he threw them on the road, holly tries to save them but a truck came passing by.

Holly back up and the presents got crushed, she was horrified by what Nicholas did.

Everyone else saw and felt bad for holly...all except for Nicholas who was laughing in his enjoyment.

"Well I guess those kids won't be getting a Christmas any time soon but hey a have a merry Christmas to them" he mocked.

Holly glared at his misdeeds and cruel laughter, she worked hard for those presents.

"Oh...and a happy new year"

"You know what Nicholas...one of these days you're finally going to get what's coming to you" she threatened him.

"Oh...I'm shaking, what a maroon"

After he left, holly continued to glare at him, she had more work to do, with barely little time.

I hope that stinginess mister ginchy Ebenezer Scrooge cold heart beast get what he deserves...one day
