Seriously!

I'm here to talk about an issue that's been bugging me concerning males in writing, and no, I'm not talking about something being sexist. I'm just stating some facts.
1. Not all boys have dirty blonde hair and perfect physique, Hell, I'm writing this and I haven't lifted a weight in my life, "I'm fat and I'm proud!"
-Edward, 2015.
So next time you say "There, lay 926 perfectly tanned, thin, 6-pack showing males all strewn out it front of me...", you should actually ask a guy what an average guy is like.
2. Guys don't only think about sex.
I know, as hard as it may be to believe, not all guys care only about sex and money. *Le gasp* But seriously, (Let's refer to me as an example again) I AM A GUY! I know shocking, but another note, I actually think little about girls or guys, mostly, I just play video games and go on WattPad (while listening to music and watching TV).
So, next time you think about writing from a guy's perspective, either
1. Actually talk to a guy.
or
2. Be a guy.
In fact, the main reason I write from only guy's perspective in my books is because I simply don't know what girls think about, sure, I have a general understanding because I talk to girls as friends, but, aside from that, I know virtually nothing.
(Side note: Girls say that periods are bad, think about constantly getting hit in the gonads as a guy, IT IS THE WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD! And it can happen so many times in a day...)
