*A month later*
Y/N'S POV
I'm sitting on my bed reading my favourite book when I hear a knock on the door
"Come in" I say
The door opens and closes
"I have some news!"
I look up and watch as Enid sits on my bed, I close the book and place it on the nightstand
"What kind of news?" I ask
"I overhead principal Weems talking with professor Thornhill and she said that a new student will arrive tomorrow"
"Really? I once heard Weems say that Nevermore doesn't accept students after the school year started" I say
"Yeah, I heard that too...maybe they made an exception this time"
"Is it a boy or a girl?"
"A girl! I hope she'll be my roommate!"
I let out a giggle at how excited Enid is at the prospect of the new girl possibly being her roommate, I grab my laptop and open Netflix
"Wanna watch a movie?"
The werewolf nods and lies down next to me
"Enola Holmes?"
"Sure"
I press play and the movie starts

I look up from my phone and see my best friend entering the quad, I notice that she's with someone I have never seen
Most likely the new girl
I stand up from the bench and walk towards them
"Hey Y/n"
"Hey Enid" I smile
"This is Wednesday Addams, the new student. I'm giving her a tour of the school"
I look at the girl, who's dressed all in black, and introduce myself
"Hi, I'm Y/n Y/l/n. Nice to meet you"
Wednesday doesn't say anything and simply walks away, I furrow my eyebrows and look at the werewolf
"So...is she your roommate?" I ask
"Yep"
"I don't think all the colour in the room will be to her liking" I giggle
"Yeah" she pouts
The bell rings and we go to class
"Is it true that she killed a kid at her old school?" I ask Enid
"I don't know, when I asked her about it she joked and said that it was actually two kids"
A shiver runs down my spine at hearing that

"Point to Y/n"
I take off my mask and look at my friend Yoko
"Another point for me" I say in a playful tone
"Shut up, I'm letting you win on purpose"
"If you say so"
We put our masks back on and get into position
"En garde" the teacher says
We start fencing and I score another point, I take off my mask and see Wednesday standing in front of Bianca
"For the final point, I would like to invoke a military challenge. No masks, no tips. Winner draws first blood" the new student says
