chapter 1 HIRED TO KILL

Hardly anyone would have suspected that he was a top special soldier in the kenyan army.But ,as great minerals may be hidden in ordinary -looking ground ,so inteligence is sometimes hidden behind apparently faces.That day he was to pick up his boss , the President of kenya from his karen residence. He was his personal bodyguard and personal driver though the presidenthad other body guards he rely trusted Mr kamba.After picking him up he would sometimes deliver him in his office in dandora or in state house nairobi but that day he told kamba to deliver him at  the airport for he was going for a trip in zambia so kamba delivered him at the JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ,Kamba that day did not travel with the president as usuall the president had asked him to go and pick his son from his rural home in maua.From the airport kamba went and parked the car outside the state house.As he was getting out of the car he received a call from an unknown number.when he answered the phone, the voice sounded like that of a man.He said,"Mr kamba i have a job for you, let us meet at the sarena hotel."Kamba asked,"Who are you?"The man said,"You will know me when we meet at the hotel."
"When will we meet?"kamba asked.
The man replied,"we will meet today in the evening."That evening kamba arrived earlier than the man whom they were to meet with .After a while,three vehicles arrived outside the hotel.The man got out of the car and entered the hotel kamba said to himself,"It is mr richard."Mr richard asked,"Have i kept you waiting?"
"No sir."He said.Mr richard sat down and ordered a juice for himself and said,"You can ask for anything you want i will pay."I asked for a coup of coffee.Mr richard said,"You know why i have called you here it is because i trusted you when you were my personal body gurd,i remember very well you were loyal to me as the mp for embakasi so saved my life several times .reason as why i have called you here is because i want to hire you for a particular job and i will pay you a lot of money i think it will be twice your annually salary. "Kamba asked ,"Which job ?and how much money?"
" As you know i am an oposition leader here in kenya ,so i want you to kill my opponent .I will pay you two hundred million us dollars. "Mr richard said
"Are you hiring me to kill my boss, who trusts me more than any of his bodyguards. "Kamba said.
"Think about the money that i Will give you for a small job.That money will make you a billionaire here in kenya and when you kill the president , there will be a re election and that would give me the orputurnity to win and when i win you will be the cabinet secretary of defence. "Mr richard said.
Kamba stood and said ,"I will go and think about it. "Kamba got out and went straight to his car and drove off to his residence in kayole he had even forgot to pick the presidents son.That night kamba could not sleep,he thought of the money that he would be given after doing that job.He said to himself,"All that money ,it can help my family and will make my family richer."Kamba took his phone and called mr richard,he said ,"I have accepted the job,i will do it."The next day kamba drove to maua and picked the president's from maua to the president residence in karen after there  he and nine other body guards were to pick the president from the airport. The president was back from zambia.when kamba saw the president he felt like telling him that he had been sent to kill him.Kamba drove the president to state house.That evening the president called kamba and  said to him,"I want you to take me to my residence and i do not want anyone to know that i am at my home in karen  this is because  of  my safetyso we will only go with one car i don't want the presidential motorcade ."kamba decided to use that opportunity to kill the president."zambian is a rely interesting country it has beautiful ladies and polite young men,Kamba you would have joined me you would have gotten a wife by now ." Kamba laughed.He said to the president,"You are the best and intresting boss i have ever met you are kind and good peson i will rely miss you."President laughed and said,"Come on,  you will miss me where am i going.I have started my job just the other day and i know through God's grace i am going to rule for ten years."  kamba removed a gun slowly and pointed at the president and he said ,''I have been sent to kill you by mr richard and i am going to kill you right now."The president said,"Ok kill me but you should know that i always trusted you that is why i have asked you to take me to my residence not anyone else,You are one of my best body guard mr kamba i trust you and that is why i always want you to take care of me and my family as our bodyguard."Kamba did not know what to do so he decided to stop the car in a forest and ordered the President to get out of the the car.Kamba called mr richard and said ,"I have the president come now i cannot kill him come and kill him."After three hours mr richard with his two men arrived .When mr richard saw the president he said to his men,"Give the
briefcase to mr Kamba he now deserves it."when kamba opened the briefcase he did not believe what he saw  the briefcase was full of money.Mr richard said to his men," you can now kill him."When they wanted to shoot the president they heard ,"Everybody hands up ."When mr richard tried escape he was shot right on his left leg.Mr kamba helped the president up and said to him ,"The plan has worked.Mr kamba and the president had planned to call the police first before kamba had called mr richard.When the police had surrounded the place then kamba called mr richard and told  himhe had the president.Mr richard was taken to the hospital ,he was treated and when he got better he was taken to prison for fifteen years. Mr kamba was promoted by the president to beeing the deputy major general of the kenyan army.
