i have always thought that i knew what love meant,
but that was before you came along
when our paths crossed each other from that first time we met,
i didn't know if it was a good or bad thing
so i tried my hardest not to fall for you
because for me,
loving meant having to go through the pain and tears
all over again
yet it came to my realisation that
love didn't have to be that way
loving you is so easy,
it's the most safe and secure
your love has always been the one
that has ever felt like home to me
