EMBRACING THE DARK
i used to be afraid of the dark
i would disappear into the darkness
and was always unsure of where i was headed to
but that was until i met her - my light
her glow was brighter than any star
and she held her hand out to me
as she guided my way through the tunnel of darkness
she lit up the darkest places and
showed me their hidden wonders
and for the first time,
i was no longer scared of the dark
as i embraced all of its beauty
with you
