"Dad?" I called out as I walked through the door, the moonlight peeking through the curtains.

"I'm in the kitchen kiddo!" My dad yelled back as I walked into the kitchen to see him fixing something underneath the sink.

"Dad can we talk, I kinda need to tell you something, it's important." I said as he got from under the sink and walked into the living room alongside me. I sat on the edge of the couch while he sat in the chair nearing it.

"What's up?" He asked, folding his hands into his lap.

"Well you know Jules and how I always visit her and stuff..."

"Yeah of course, you've been hanging around her since the split, what about her?" He wondered, looking slightly confused.

"Well she actually might be coming to the In-Between and she needs my help so I'm asking if-"

"Do it."

"What? You're honestly just going to let me-"

"Do you want me to stop you or something? Quinn, if you really think you can help her or whoever get out of that hellhole, do it. You're a good kid, just make smart decisions, I trust you. We've gotten this far, haven't we?" He said, smiling as a tear came down his face and I pulled him into a hug.

"I love you dad." I whispered, tighening the hug.

"Your mom would be so fucking proud of you right now." He laughed, a tear coming down my face now.

"How come you can swear and I can't?" I tested as my dad jokingly rolled his eyes.

*THE NEXT DAY*

"Cyrus, call Ellie and both of you come over, I need to ask a favor. Don't bring Savannah, don't tell her either." I said into my phone while on call with Cyrus.

"On it, be there in 10." He said before hanging up.

I paced about my room, waiting until I heard footsteps quickening up the staircase and eventually to my door where I let Ellie and Cyrus into my room.

"Okay, so what are we here for?" Ellie asked, flopping down into my chair while Cyrus stayed standing.

"There's a way for Jules to legally move here and I think she's going to do it, but we need help." I said, sitting on the edge of my bed.

"She's going to get hurt enough to be transported to our hospital?" Cyrus asked concerned, both Ellie and I looked at him, shocked he knew that.

"I'm just a little bit smarter than I look okay!"

"What can we do to help?" Ellie wondered, resting both of her arms on my chair's armrest.

"Tomorrow Jules is going to be brought over, and once she's at the hospital her brother will bring us to her and we'll sneak her out together. There's heavy survaillence for these kinds of situations, shes supposed to be sent directly back to her hous after her treatment is complete so we'll need to be quick."

"Is this a whole spy thing we're I need to like, guide you guys through the halls and shit?" Cyrus asked, rubbing his hands together.

"No, all we need you to do is loop the cameras and shut the fuck up while we do the rest!" I said, smiling as I spoke while Cyrus mocked me.
