You know when you're feelings for someone are so intense you don't even know what to do with them?
Like everything they do, everything they say, is perfect.
Not knowing how to control and express my feeling used to be my biggest downfall as a child, I struggled to help others understand my feelings. I was scared of what others might think of how I felt, what they might say to me because of it, but I realized that I only needed one thing, and that was an outlet.
I've been dedicatedly writing since I was around nine or ten, keeping all of my stories and ideas to myself, enveloping myself in these fictious worlds.
Writing was my escape from everything I couldn't control.
These past few years, the central theme in my writing has been Jules, mainly about things she told me, or funny things we did, but lately, they've been, more romantic?
Don't let a writer write you love letters.
One will turn into three, then three turns into twenty-three overnight.
There's just something about the twenty-fourth one though.
Though I'm nearly finished writing it, it's most definitely my favorite so far.
As I finish up the writing on the page, I blow on the ink and lay it to dry in the windowsill, locking the door behind me, just a precaution so nobody sees, especially Jules.
I walked downstairs quickly to be met with Jules and Desmond cooking while Bailey and Flora played on the carpet in the living room.
"Morning family!" I exclaimed as I stretched out my arms, Jules wiping her hands on a kitchen towel and coming over to hug me.
"Morning princess." I said as I wrapped my arms around her, Flora running up during our hug.
"When's my turn?" Flora asked, putting a hand on her hip as she watched the two of us hug.
"Wait your turn Flora!" Jules giggled as she hugged me tighter, Flora rolling her eyes playfully and hugging my leg.
"Where's my dad?" I asked as I let the both of them go, Jules' hand lingering on mine before she pulled it away.
"He left a note saying that he was called into work early, so Desmond and I decided to make breakfast.
"I could've made something, you guys didn't have to." I said as I walked into the kitchen with Jules, the two of us taking a seat at the island.
"It's okay, I needed something to keep me busy anyways." Desmond smiled hugely to himself as he plated some food.
"Hanging out with Beck later?" I asked, smirking as Desmond set the plate in front of me.
"Maybe..." Desmond laughed as he grabbed a cup to pour himself some orange juice.
"He's in love." Bailey shrugged as she walked into the kitchen, Flora following behind her.
"Shut up Bailey! He's going to pick me up in a few minutes and you all need to behave!" Desmond insisted before he took a sip of his orange juice, cautious of spilling it on his outfit.
"What's on the schedule today?" Jules asked as she took a bite of her bagel.
"Not sure, I'm sure we'll figure something out though, we always do." I smiled as she smiles back, dropping her fork onto her plate on accident, causing a loud crash.
