It's been such a long day, his body was utterly exhausted, muscles pleading to rest — even his brain began to shut down, wishing to go home and sleep on his not so comfortable bed, to doze off to dreamland. But, he wouldn't sleep. Of course he wouldn't. Not when his body worked like a haunted house, the ghost belonging to that silver epitome of sheer divinity still lurking in all the abandoned places, claiming as his whatever part of the mind Hyunjin had yet to take control over.
It was a losing game between him and an unknown figure. Unknown, because he knew absolutely nothing of him. He couldn't unravel the other's thoughts, not even if he wanted to as Silver didn't seem to be fond of talking. He stood as an unreachable entity, one void of any verbal attachment; and yet said entity still fed on his unwanted delusions.
Deeply signing even felt like a heavy burden as he did so, arms straining since the groceries he held appeared to weight more than they logically should. Wordlessly was that he handed them over to the cashier, patiently listening to every 'bleep' the machine sang as the boy before him scanned the three items.
"That'd be 7,200 won, sir," Spoke softly - Hyunjin lowered his eyesight for a split second — 'Choi Jiung' according to his name plate and stared up at him with lovely eyes. The boy watched as his customer merely hummed in acknowledgement, fishing into his pocket for his wallet; those pale strands of hair sitting gracefully around his face, the humble, dim light above them doing nothing but enhance the guy's allurement.
They exchanged their respective cash, total payment and it's change, knowing that those curious eyes followed Hwang's every movement.
". . .Do you need a bag, sir?" The worker knew it was an actual requirement to ask customer's if they required a bag, but at that moment he couldn't help but feel slight shame, being as a pack of cigarettes, strawberry milk and a small box of Pepero's didn't demand for much space.
Hyunjin denied with a shake of his head, "Thank you, sweetheart."
The tall guy had barely even glanced at the cashier, rather already taking himself out of the convenience store after collecting his things, but he still had noticed the undoubtedly rosé pigment spreading on the other's cheeks, contrasting with his vanilla toned hair, eyes dancing on the blond's retreating frame entirely entranced. He hadn't even stepped outside of the store as he lit a cigarette up, taking a drag absentmindedly yet still being considerate enough to blow the smoke out once he had exited the place.
The night makes a great companion, he dwelled as he took another drag, staring at the starless sky. As pathetic as he thought it out to be, he always sought out the moon's company at night, when the light died down and his demons lurked around. It'd be just him and the satellite, brooding in the garden. He'd voice his most vicious thoughts out, and while he saw it as selfish as many other people did as well, he'd like to think that by admiring her. . . worshipping her beauty, it'd get rid of some of those heavy wishes wearing her down.
