I heard a strange voice in the darkness I was currently in, but I had no idea exactly where I was... it felt.. familiar in a way.. but it felt the complete opposite of a warm and welcoming home. It felt.. nostalgic.

"Wake up [Name]."

That voice... it's so... familiar.

"Wake up."

The familiarity.... it's almost terrifying in a way......

"I said...-"

Mother?

"WAKE UPPP!!!"

I shot awake, breathing heavily as if I had just emerged from a full hour of being underwater, savouring each breath as I gently shook in my skin. It was.. terrifying. Just the thought of it made my skin tingle in different areas, making me go cold for a second or so, more so around my neck and my shoulder.

It felt very displeasing as I had just adjusted to the desert heat a few days ago, although it was quite better than the blistering heat of the Sea of Sand, and I was grateful for that, as I could now rest in a comfy white futon.

I suddenly remember everything that happened within a span of a day, at least I think.. but that wasn't the least of my worries, as I finally took in my surroundings to see a place I was incredibly unfamiliar with.

The walls looked to made of wood, and it was painted in a grey colour, seemingly a few days ago, as I could be able to smell the lingering smell of that and of dust in the room.

I looked down to see that I was still in my clothes from before, which was nice to know that whoever took me in here didn't wish to invade my privacy, but I soon took notice that my bandages that I wore were replaced with clean, white bandages that smelt partially nice.

My lower half was currently covered in a sort of blanket, though it's concept didn't seem to be made for warmth, as it was slightly cold, but I didn't necessarily mind it, as I was just travelling through a blistering desert.

'Wait.. what happened to those people.. those people that I had to fight.. where are they now?'

My thoughts about those ninja that were wearing gi, were cut off as I heard the wooden door to the room I currently resided in, open up. My guard was raised, as I knew that whoever would walk through could be a potential threat.

Wait... what?

The very person that opened the door was....

"Lur??"

Shock was the only thing I could feel when I saw Lur walk through that very door, wearing a sandy yellow gi, his curly red hair resting upon his head as some strands were stuck to his forehead

Shock was the only thing I could feel when I saw Lur walk through that very door, wearing a sandy yellow gi, his curly red hair resting upon his head as some strands were stuck to his forehead. I say his eyes light up as he saw me, as my eyes did the same when my eyes caught on his form.

I felt tears threaten to fall down my eyes, as I shot up off the futon and ran over to hug the very boy I missed dearly. I felt my throat get caught in my mouth as I could barely speak to him.

"Why.. why did you leave..?" I had asked, feeling my soul crash down to the soily crust of the Earth. My only response were quite words of comfort, such as "I'm here.." and "I won't leave you..". The words weren't that much of a help, as I knew neither of us knew what would happen in the future, but I was grateful of the thought.

I exited the hug, as I looked over to his face, the very face I missed looking at as I woke up every day. The memories single-handedly managed to let more tears pour down from my eyes, but Lur pulled me into yet another bone crushing hug, which I accepted within a heartbeat, my arms around his neck, my chin resting on his shoulder, as his arms were around my waist.

It was nice, as there were no loud noises to interrupt us from our reunion, as we simply stood in the doorway. It was peaceful, the only white-nouse being the wind knocking against the door.

"Please don't leave me again..."
