Shivering under the conditioned coolness of the bounty room, my elbow propped on the table, looking intently at Nya- well her laser pointer as she informed all of us about the anatomy of a sort of Serpentine.. I think it was called a 'Fangpyre', but I was honestly too focused on the blue light that emitted from the stick, my eyes following every where it went.
"Some villagers unearthed the remainder of this Fangpyre a few miles away. It predates the Golden Age, and must be hundreds of years old." She informed us, as I could practically feel the boredom radiating off the others. Heck I didn't even have to feel it I could just hear it, the awkward silence that hindered in the air that could be breakable by a single drop of a pin.
"Although the venom in the fangs of the Fangpyre genetically mutate human cells into reptilian,-" she had turned the laser pointer to the fangs of the deceased Fangpyre, as it emitted a low frequency sound of sorts.
"I've learned there could be a way to stop the effects without having to create an anti-venom!" She remarked proudly, as she turned off the laser pointer, much to my disbelief as I huffed in slight frustration.
It turns out when I was asleep back when trying to find the Falcon, and after Zane had come to the conclusion he was a robot and showing us, they had apparently fought off tall tree like things called.. treehorns..? Yeah, that's what they were called- and Zane had found his true potential, which is what the others say is the definition of 'unlocking your heart', or something along those lines.
"If one is able to wildly raise their heart rate, hypothetically it could reverse the venom's effect." I could hear the stroking of a paintbrush under Nya's voice, while I look out of the corner of my eye to see Cole, painting an illustration of.. me?
[Art by me ^^ btw i couldn't really bother drawing the eyes cause drawing both eyes are the legit definition of hell. also you can imagine the other scene down under here i'm too tired to draw that too]
And in the background, I could see my figure could be seen fighting off demon looking things.
'Pfff, what an imagination he has... dang it now I wanna know what it's like to imagine stuff...' I huffed internally, feeling slightly, but not to an extent, but as a jealousy that could only be noticeable if someone were to use a magnifying glass real close.
