Avi's PoV
*knocks continuously
Nagbabad lang ako sa banyo paglabas ko may kumakatok na ng sobrang lakas. I didn't want to open it at first kasi baka si Rico yun ehh baka kung ano pa gawin saken but shock filled me when I heard a familiar voice
"Avi?! Avi are you there?! Fck. Fck. Avi!!!"
Dali dali akong pumunta sa pinto para pagbuksan si Leo and when I did I saw his... worried face?
"Leo? Bakit ka andito?"
"Holy sht. Are you okay?!" Sambit niya hugging me all of a sudden
"L-leo?"
"Why aren't you answering your phone for goodness sake?!" Sambit niya pushing me slightly
"N-naliligo ako Leo. My phone's in my room" sambit ko but he just hugged me again that all I was able to do was hug him back to calm him down. I can feel him shaking as well.
His hug tightened when I hugged him
"D-don't do that. Don't scare me. I... I thought I lost you too... I thought... I thought I failed again"
"W-what? Teka nga Leo kumalma ka muna" I pushed him lightly to see his face but he can't look at me. His eyes were so sad and scared. What's going on?
"J-just don't do that again please. I... I better get going uhm..." sambit niya turning his back on me but I stopped him
"Magstay ka muna..." sambit ko and when he didn't answer I pulled him inside my house. I didn't even remember na nakatapis lang ako sa nangyari jusko!
"Sit here first. I'll just... wear some... uhm clothes" sambit ko running to my room
Leo's PoV
I... I thought I failed to protect another woman in my life. I was so scared that she wasn't answering for a good hour na napadiretso ako sa bahay niya. I don't want to make the same mistake I did with my mom na pagdating ko... pag-uwi ko sa bahay namin noon, gusto na niyang patayin ang sarili niya. She's gone mad and I was unable to save her from it.
Just remembering my mom's situation when I came home kills me.
I decided to call the nursing home to ask my mom's situation
"Hello sir?"
"Hey... uhm... how's my mom?"
"She's doing fine. She's looking for you sometimes, sir"
"Is she... is she still crying?"
"Yes sir"
"I see... is she asleep right now?"
"Yes sir. Do you want me to wake her up for you?"
"No. No. I just wanted to check on her. I'll be back in a few weeks to get her from there maybe."
"Why sir?"
"We'll move her here in the Philippines" sambit ko. I can't keep going back and forth to be with both of them so I better find a way to have them in one place. Kung kailangang ako muna mag-alaga kay mama gagawin ko... I just can't leave Avi anymore...
