Kalgara placed his lips on Almani's neck. She held his shoulders and looked at the ground. How he held her was similar to her late husband's touch. Rough but gentle.

The way his fingers trailed down her waist, made her tear up. She pictured her husband's hand on her body, holding her tight. He was a soft possessive man. He gave her the love she had craved all her life.

"Kalgara... I can't do this.."

"Goddess.."

"Please... just-... Give me some time... I-I need to process this..."

He nodded. He watched as she stood up and began to walk away. She placed her hand over her mouth as tears rolled down her face. He felt ashamed.

She didn't know if it was even possible for her to even accept someone like him.

"He-He has a family for heaven's sake!" She shouted to herself, "Why would he even consider leaving them for me?! This doesn't make any sense!!"

Azari looked at her master and rubbed her head against her leg, purring and whimpering softly.

"A-Azari... what should I do?"

Chirp! Chirp!

She wiped her tears and tied her hair up. Would her late husband and children approve of this? She has been suffering from the same nightmare for the past few years. It was hard to move past it.

"Maybe I should just sleep this off.." she said softly, "Are you tired, Azari?"

She watched her dragon move her head to the side and then yawn softly. She picked her up and rubbed her head to make her fall asleep.

"Sweet dreams, Azari..."

Tsla? Tslalala!

"A snake!!"

"It's a Viper!!"

"Careful to not get bitten!!"

"Shoo! Shoo!!"

"Go away!!"

"This is..." mumbled Noland, "Hey, Kalgara? Do you think this may be it's descendent?"

"You mean that snake?" Asked Kalgara.

Tslaa!

Chirp! Chirp!

The two men began to laugh at their jokes.

"Oh for heaven's sake.." giggled Almani.

Almani followed the two men as the viper and Azari chased each other and followed behind as Noland's crew and Kalgara's people talked amongst themselves.

The two crowds followed and caught up eventually to the three.

"What did you want to show us, Kalgara?" Asked Noland.

"You'll know when you get there. Hey, you there! Over there is a cliff, go down from here!" Said Calgara.

"Go down?"

Almani took down some notes and drew the monument before following the rest of the crowd. As they arrived, the same sound was heard.

"That beautiful sound.." mumbled Almani and Noland.
