"I hope you're getting the best of your life now. You deserve it. " She added, then set the mug on the counter and approached her son. "Eaten? " She asked pleasantly.

Jiho watched his friend sadly. He wanted to say something, to lift her spirits, to tell her that she too would be happy again, but he lacked the right words.
