“Let’s give it another, try.” The director said and stared at the camera.
“One, Two, Three……” Nag-ayos naman si Dashell. “GO!”
Lots of shutters from camera overwhelmed the whole place. At sa dulo ay natapos narin sila sa photoshoot.
It’s been a week since they arrived in the Philippines at nagpatuloy sa kani-kanilang trabaho.
But unlike before, he’s more on modelling than acting dahil halos mauubos ang oras niya kung magkataon. He wanted to have some spare time to looked over to his wife.
At meron pa siyang kompanya na kailangang asikasuhin. Now that everyone knew about their marriage and also the latest news about Attorney Samantha Ferrer-Yang being pregnant is a hot topic since then.
And Samantha turns out to be pregnant. Masyado itong mailap at masungit. She’s on her first trimester pero grabe na kung magsungit.
“Good job, Niko!” The director complemented. For Dashell it was a normal thing for him kaya naman ay hindi niya na ito pinapansin.
Pumunta siya sa dressing room at nakita ang cellphone na umiilaw. Kinuha niya ito at tsaka umupo sa couch. Sinuklay niya ang kanyang buhok gamit ang daliri at narinig narin sa wakas ang nasa kabilang linya.
“Niko? Busy ka?” it was his wife.
Napangiti naman si Dashell ng maeinig ang boses ng asawa. Mukhang nasa trabaho pa nga ito at dahil naririnig niya ang mga rant ng mga katrabaho.
“I’m not, I just finished my session for this day. Bakit?” He asked.
“Wala naman, can I video call?” nag-aalangang saad nito.
To his surprise, nasamid tuloy ito ng kanyang laway at tsaka hindi agad nakapag salita. “Niko?”
“Y-yes? Sorry, naubo lang.”
“Ah ganun ba, so can i?”
“Yes. I’ll call you.” Sagot naman ni Dashell at tsaka pinatay ang tawag. He call her through video call at sinagot naman nito agad.
Bumungad sa screen ang maamo nitong mukha na tila ba ay may kausap.
“God, mamaya na. I’m busy.” Nakasimangot nitong aniya.
Her eyes widened. “Oh?” but then she shook her head. “But, Detective. Attorney Andalusia is the one working through it. I can’t come since I’m pregnant. I can’t have physical investigation right now”
Mukha namang umalis ang kausap kaya namab ay biglang lumiwanag ang seryosong mukha nito kanina.
“Sorry, umeksakto kasi siya, eh.” Saad naman ni Samantha na para bang may pinagmamasdan sa paligid.
Napatingin naman si Dashell sa kanyang likod at gilid. “There’s no woman here, Wife.”
Her mouth formed an ‘o’ “Really? Hindi naman ‘yan ang binabantayan ko” pagmamaang-maangan nito ngunit kitang kita naman na ito talaga ang hinahanap ng kanyang mata.
This is also part of her pregnancy. Jealousy, she’s jealous of younger than her, she’s jealous on someone who’ll talk to him, she’s jealous when she saw someone hitting on him and many more.
Kaya naman ay si Dashell ang naghaadjust dahil siya lagi ang pinagbabantaan nito na hihiwalayan.
She had the papers ready kaya naman ay baka totohanin nito kaya naman ay nag-iingat si Dashell.
“Don’t worry, I really don’t mind you getting jealous. Hindi naman ako magagalit so you can tell me the truth.”
Samantha pouted and shook her head. “I am not. Just checking.”
