"Power has a price"
Waking up to someone pounding on her door wasn't the best of things that she would like to be woken up to considering the exhausting week she had gone through.
She groaned lowly and took some time to come to her surroundings before she blinked and got up swiftly. Her sock-clad feet padded lightly against the floor and she clumsily unlocked the door and swung it open, stopping the person on the opposite side in their tracks.
Before she stood an obviously older man who looked annoyed at the prospect of being in her presence. He pulled his arm back from the knocking position where he was going to knock again and instead fixed her with a look but quickly looked away and cleared his throat. "You have been requested at the hangar in fifteen minutes" he instructed, and after finishing that he had quickly turned around and sped off like she was a disease and he had just caught it.
Equuleus stared for a couple of seconds, her sleepiness just not wearing off of her and she blinked a few times before it had been made clear in her head that she needed to be somewhere. She wasn't very happy about that and closed the door, turning around and going to look for some clothes so that she was able to change into appropriate clothing. She remembered Jazz had told her last night that she was going to be summoned so they would be able to tell her about her schedule. Not knowing if it was going to be strict seeing as she was young and they already gave her a bedtime, so she assumed it was going to be like this all around.
She quickly changed into some leggings, an anime hoodie, and regular Nike tennis shoes. Nothing else she had was appropriate for soldier wear, seeing as she was only thirteen and if they complained about it that was what she was going to tell them. She groaned as she took her bonnet off and pushed her glasses onto her face, making her bed and doing a quick check around her room before grabbing her phone and locking the door behind her. An electronic code was needed to get into the room anyway, so keys were not needed.
She walked around for a couple of minutes, trying to figure her way around before she saw where people were around. "Equuleus" her name was called out and she quickly turned around, curious of who was calling her name and she let out a small smile once she saw her guardian walking towards her. "You looked like ya slept good lil lady" he held out his servo towards her and she got on as he lifted her and started walking towards the other Autobots that were gathered around. "I did" she answered quietly, laying her head against his chest area and she yawned.
"And you still look sleepy" he chuckled, feeling her head against his spark chamber. "You can lay there for as long as you need sweet spark, you look tired" his voice soothed her as she didn't move from where she was cuddled on his chest plates. "I was going to anyway,'' she grumbled lowly and she felt another laugh from him as he stopped in front of the others.
