ADRIANA'S POV.
December 19, 4:36 pm.

Me and dd were at the mall and he was looking at sneakers and I was looking at Nike tech's when suddenly I heard a deep voice. "hey aná," said the voice. I turned around and it was Teion.

"Tee!!! Heyyy. I haven't seen you in forever." I said hugging him. Teion is a childhood friend. Our families were close growing up. "It's been like 12 years since I've seen you. How have you been?" He said pulling away. "I've been great. I have kids now." I said laughing a little. "Kids?!" He said surprised. "Yup. Two. Girl and boy." I replied while moving my hair out my face. "Wow, that's crazy. "Can I see them?" He said.

I pulled out my phone and opened the photos app. I went down to a picture of them together and showed them. "oh wow. They're so adorable." He said looking back at me. "Thank you," I said laughing a bit. "Who's this?" Dd said walking up to us. Teion looked confused. "Teion. He's an old friend. We grew up together." I said turning my attention to dd. He didn't say anything. He just stared. "Well, ima go. It was nice seeing you." Teion said. "It was nice seeing you too. Here, take my number down." I said. He pulled out his phone and handed it to me. I typed in my number and gave him his phone. I waved and he walked away. "Here, take down my number." Dd said mocking me. "oh shut upppp." I said laughing and pushing him slightly. We went back to our shopping.

LATER THAT DAY.
7:03 pm

I was laying in my bed with Alanis and David jr when I got a text. It was Teion.

after we finished texting I put in his contact and continued to lie down with the kids.

"hey, ma hearts," dd said as he walked into my room and put his stuff down.
I got up from my bed and went over to him. I wrapped my arms around dd and kissed him all over his face. "hi" I said as I stared at him.
*ding*

I got a text.

dd picked up my phone and saw the text. He sucked his teeth.

"why is this nigga tryna link you bro." He said rolling his eyes. "don't start being sassy David," I said laughing. "Whatever bro," he said throwing my phone on the bed and laying down with the kids. I picked up my phone and began to type. "Yeah go tell him you'll link him," dd said tryna be funny. I ignored it though.

I turned off my phone and lay on the bed with my family. I put on Moana and we watched it until we all fell asleep.
