Dear Reader,
This book was written after I was looking for random words in the dictionary. I came across the word 'billet-doux', meaning 'love letter' in English, 'sweet letter' in French. Immediately, I thought, Wow, I think a book named BILLET-DOUX about someone receiving anonymous letters on Valentine's day would be great, and here we are. BILLET-DOUX is all about Jolene Bonneville, who finds a letter in her locker on Valentine's day. She doesn't know who it's from or what it reads, resulting in a roller-coaster ride of a journey. She discovers things about people she would never have guessed and learns a valuable lesson. Any sentence fragments/unfinished sentences just represent how Jolene thinks.
I come up with, brainstorm and make up ideas for books on woodland walks with my family and mum, who helps me sort out plot and twists, characters and their personalities. She is also the person who helps me edit my -- our -- book.
And please, don't race to a translator when you see the letters. You don't want to ruin the book ;)

DISCLAIMERS
This book was started on the 31st of December, 2022. I will be releasing chapters in parts (Exposition, Inciting Incident, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, Duodenum). TEASER CHAPTER not included.
The TEASER CHAPTER is also a test to see if it is good enough, so comments/opinions would be appreciated. This book is very angsty but also filled with the discovery of a world our MC has never thought of before. It is viewed through the eyes of a 15-year-old girl.
If you have an old phone, the writing on the letters might not show up. Apologies to those who have this issue, but it shouldn't be much of a problem.
People aged 13+ can read in my opinion.
