𝙲𝙻𝙰𝚂𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙲𝚁𝙾𝚆𝙽𝚂 || 𝚁𝙷𝙰𝙴𝙽𝚈𝚁𝙰 𝚃𝙰𝚁𝙶𝙰𝚁𝚈𝙴𝙽

°•°• jaelys stomped angrily to her chambers with her eyes hardened and a scowl on her face , there was one thing the silver eyed girl hated and it was kings landing. that place was like hell on earth with their savages of people and that place smelt of shit and piss°•°•

°•°• yet her father was basically forcing her to join him on his trip to the red keep as he had a place in the small council and he had a matter he so desperately needed to issue to the king and the lords that were present and he wished for his daughter to come along . jaelys disagreed hastily but the man just gave her a look that left no room for arguing and now here she was angrily opening her room door to pack some of her belongings°•°•

°•°• she muttered curse words under her breathe whilst throwing some clothes in her luggage case along with some of her favorite books if she got bored of the council. though she knew her stay there would be somewhat entertaining because the little princess resided there and much to her amusement rhaenyra and jaelys had a bit of a playful rivalry°•°•

°•°• though jaelys didn't really know why they had it but seem to shrug it off and enjoying annoying the princess with her endless teasing , the silver eyed girl liked seeing the princess flushed annoyed face and constant huffing , scoffing and rolling of eyes , she liked their little constant banters as it brought her entertainment from her usual boredom when visiting the red keep°•°•

°•°• a knock was heard bringing the girl out from her thoughts as she turned to see who it was , a smile came on her face as she saw her sister standing by her doorway "little dove!" she smiled discarding her clothes giving the little girl her full attention°•°•

°•°• laena smiled walking deeper in that room as she looked up to her sister "mother said you are to leave to kings landing" said the little lady.  jaelys hummed in response sitting on the edge of her bed so her sister didn't need to break her neck looking up at her°•°•

°•°• "unfortunate but needed as father wishes for me to depart with him for back up in the small council" the silver eyed girl shrugged tossing the clothes that laid beside her in the case with a sigh. laena looked to her sister for a moment as she immediately threw her arms around her neck hugging the taller girl tightly°•°•

°•°• "thank you..." whispered laena with tears welled up in her violet eyes "i've heard what you did with that man ...i owe you my life" even if the girl was merely three and ten , she was smart and well minded for her age and knew of the rights and wrongs of the world no matter how hard her parents and older sister tries to shield both her and her twin brother from it°•°•

°•°• jaelys hugged her sister tightly "you owe me nothing little dove it's my duty as your sister ...your protector to keep you and laenor safe from this wrenched world and i will do so till my last dying breathe" she said quietly placing a longing kiss on her forehead°•°•

°•°• laena pulled from the hug to smile at her sister "i wish you safe travels dear sister" jaelys smiled hugging her one last time°•°•

°•°• walking down the hallways with her case in her hand and her velaryian steel sword , moonlight sheathed to her hip along with a short dagger , she was dressed in her simple black riding clothes on that had her house sigil embroidered on her right shoulder with her silver curly long hair hung loosely behind her shoulders with some pieces framing her face°•°•

°•°• "sister!" jaelys turned her head to see a short figure running to her in a haste as she placed her case down just in time to catch the small body in her arms "what have i told you of running in these hallways , you could get hurt" the elder girl scolded lightly to her little brother°•°•

°•°• laenor simply giggled "you dare depart without saying goodbye dear sister of mine , quite treacherous of you if i must say" he turned his chin up giving the girl a side eye with his arms crossed . jaelys snorted setting him down ruffling his hair°•°•

°•°• "and yet here we are saying our goodbyes dear brother of mine , not quite treacherous if you ask me" jaelys shot back playfully as the two walked to where there parents where to be°•°•

°•°• "i heard in the courtyard when training what happened a few nights ago...." laenor started off with his hand holding her slightly bigger ones
"all those boys in the courtyard that are mean to me don't come near me anymore ...seems like they scared to face the same consequence" the boy snickered°•°•

°•°• jaelys knew of those lads being mean to her brother and she was to deal with them soon , laenor was different from other boys as his favored the same gender rather the opposite. and some people find it horrendous but didn't dear question it loudly as they knew how fiercely protective both his parents and sisters were aswell as the boys dragon seasmoke , the creature was the size of a small hound yet still intimidating°•°•

°•°• "well i'm sure those idiots won't be teasing you any longer " their little conversation was cut short when they neared their parents , laenor ran to his mother as the woman smiled to her son bending to his height to kiss his forehead°•°•

°•°• "the ship will be sailing in a few" corlys informed his daughter as he took the case from her giving it to one of his men that were boarding the ship "i will be going with midnight father it's quicker and less ...rocky" she told him as her clear dislike for ships was evident as she got her love for flying rather than sailing from her mother°•°•

°•°• "very well than" corlys kissed his wife and smiled to his son before leaving to board the ship , jaelys kissed her mother's cheek "i'll see you soon" she smiled as rhaenys in turn kissed her forehead "safe travels my dear" laenor grinned waving enthusiastically as his big velaryon blue eyes sparkled "have fun sister!" jaelys chuckled kissing his forehead before leaving them °•°•

°•°• jaelys walked to where her dragon would normally be resting , here on driftmark they didn't really have dragon pits so rhaenys, jaelys and laenor's dragons flew freely and rested ontop of mountains.  the girl caught sight of a pitch black dragon curled up in a ball as a smile graced its way on her lips°•°•

°•°• "midnight my love" the girl cooed out in high velaryian as the dragon opened her eyes at the voice of her rider , she whined out slightly raising from her resting place as she shook the sand that blew on her when sleeping off . jaelys never got tired of seeing her dragon , the way her scales were midnight black with hints of lightening blue ran through inbetween her scales , her horns sharp and eyes gold as the sun. midnight was a bit bigger than rhaenyra's dragon , syrax°•°•

°•°• the girl inched closer rubbing her hands on the dragons snout , midnight laid her body down extending her wing as jaelys carefully mounted her adjusting herself on her saddle "off to kings landing " she told the dragon . midnight stretched her wings and legs before flying off°•°•
