°•°•𝔏osing someone you love was a hard pill to swallow, you just can't fathom the thought ...the reality of them not being on this earth any longer and it hits you harder than you'd expect, a stinging pain in your heart that refuses to simmer no matter what you do°•°•

°•°•and many had different ways of dealing with a loss, tears has fallen and sobs fell from their lips ...others wish to forget the pain of the loss as they force themselves into something to take their mind off from it°•°•

°•°•yet for jaelys—well she has been still ever since the passing of laenor, no words uttered from her lips nor were their emotions planted on her face. her silver eyes dull and the evident bags under her eyes were clear that she hasn't had a goods night rest in a while°•°•

°•°•now both her siblings were gone with her only being left with memories of when they were still here with her ...those bittersweet memories haunting her constantly, everytime she blinked the faces of laena and laenor shone in her view°•°•

°•°•her mind reminding her that she failed to protect them as their elder sister ...the person the twins looked up to and saw jaelys as their knight in shining armor. laena and laenor were the brightening stars in jaelys dark canvas°•°•

°•°•where were her stars now? where were the very two people she swore to protect all the time?°•°•

°•°•you have failed your duty jaelys°•°•

°•°•her mind tells her—no, her mind yells at her every second°•°•

°•°•her stillness worried rhaenyra as their children would notice their mothers lack of words and emotions—and when rhaenyra tried talking to her wife, jaelys would simply give one worded responses or a simple shrug°•°•

°•°•and the queen felt so horrible for the tall woman, she could only imagine the hurt and pain jaelys was going through ....she would act just as the tall woman was if her sister and brother had left this world°•°•

°•°•jaelys had been distracting her mind by slowly killing off all the traitors that betrayed rhaenyra, the woman was tempted to call of all their supporters as she, herself wanted to demolish the traitors on her own°•°•

°•°•midnight could feel what her rider was going through as she would always take jaelys to their favorite place whenever the tall woman needed to clear her mind°•°•

°•°•but now, havouring in the dark sky was midnight's dark form as her golden eyes stared down the army surrounding all of casterly rock°•°•

°•°•this was the next victim of jaelys as the tall woman stared blankly at the lions below, she cared not for anything as she wish to kill the people who supported the usurper°•°•

°•°•jaelys tightened her grip on her reigns as midnight understood the gesture, a low growl brewing in her chest as she extended her wings widely letting her large frame shadow the whole of casterly rock°•°•

°•°•the lannister men all looked up from what they were doing as their mouth fell agape at the sight of the monstrous midnight. with her golden eyes widened, midnight let a loud roar leave her mouth letting out her claws°•°•

°•°•soon screams was heard—but midnight swereved pass them and flew to where their ships were. those very ships ready to sail to kings landing for aegon once it was dawn°•°•

°•°•midnight opened her large mouth as her blackened flames spewed onto the ships, she flew around burning all their ships into the sea with all their weaponry and belongings boarded on it. the lions were in distress as they ran around panicking at the sight of midnight burning their fleet°•°•

°•°•jason lannister ran to the shore with his hands in hair with a look of panic and terror shown on his face, he could clearly see jaelys silver locks flowing through the dark sky as midnights black flames burned his ships°•°•

°•°•the tall woman enjoyed the sight of their ships burning and slowly sinking to the bottom of the sea, her silver eyes snapped to the lannister men as that very dark glint shone bright in her silver eyes°•°•

°•°•midnight felt the murderous thoughts running through her riders head as she roared, flapping her wings to where the lannister men all were gathered°•°•

°•°•jaelys untied her reigns just as midnight extended her wing letting the tall woman slid off and immediately attack the oncoming men°•°•

°•°•her arrows flew in different directions, with each killing off every lannister men. her sword swinging and cutting them in half as jaelys face remained blank°•°•

°•°•jason lannister had his mouth agaped in fear as he caught sight of of jaelys killing off his army by herself, her valyrian steel blade slicing through them like butter as her arrows flew in every of his mens head°•°•

°•°•they dropped like flies and with midnight burning down his fleet—he now utterly regretted bending the knee to aegon rather than the true heir, rhaenyra°•°•

°•°•and there was no turning back now as he knew his life would end this very dark night°•°•

°•°•jaelys breathing hasn't even wavered and her limbs was not tired as she killed the last group of lions, her silver eyes searching for jason°•°•

°•°•and as she caught sight of him, she could practically see the fear dripping off him. the tall woman twirled her blood filled blade as her legs moved to where the man was standing , frozen in fear. jason's breathing picked up as he tried running—but as he turned, midnights large frame stood in his view as her golden eyes stared the man down and a growl leaving her mouth°•°•

°•°•he stumbled to the ground as he crawled back, his eyes stuck on the scary beast ...and he crawled right into jaelys figure with her own silver eyes staring the man down°•°•

°•°•jason felt his heart leave his chest at the sight of the two, a dangerous duo no one wishes to encounter—hell the lannister man wouldn't even wish this fate on his worst enemy°•°•

°•°•"p...pl...please .." the mans stuttered words begged for a inkling of mercy as he was now on his knees with his hands clamped together, his gaze pleading and full of fear looming up to the tall woman "i beg you please" tears dare to well his eyes°•°•

°•°•jaelys almost laughed at the sight, the cocky, overconceited man now on his knees begging for mercy almost at the verge of crying. if she wasn't so heartless at the moment ...she would've take pity for the man°•°•

°•°•no i wouldn't°•°•

°•°•the tall woman titled her head as her brow rose ever so slightly at the mans tears and pleading words, her silver eyes glanced to midnight who inturn rolled her golden eyes at the silly man°•°•

°•°•"shh crying man" jaelys words had no hint of sympathy in as she patted his head, jason thought he had a spare of mercy but before he could even blink—moonlight had sliced through his neck and off with his head ...it rolled near midnight, the dragon looked to it in distain°•°•

°•°•jaelys took ahold of the dead man's coat as she wiped her sword clean with it, her eyes turning to the dead bodies filling casterly rock and the lit flames at sea. she took in the beauteous sight°•°•

°•°•midnight extended her wings as jaelys mounted her once more, with that the dragon took off with her rider as the two left the massacre they've caused as a warning of what to come for the usurper°•°•
