Chapter 9

Tay sat in the living room alone after everyone left. He didn't know why? He wanted to leave but he just couldn't, he couldn't leave Time alone in this house this time. He knew Time was sick and alone lying there in their bedroom.

Tay always thought that after he left, Time will be happy and start a new life with Tem but it's doesn't seem to be the case here. He wanted to know what happened, how did Time end up like this but the only one person who can answer all his questions was still unconscious.

Tay went to the kitchen and re-heat the porridge for Time. He put it in a bowl, place the bowl on a tray with the medicine and water and carried it to the bedroom. He placed the tray on the bedside table and sat down beside Time. He looked at Time sleeping peacefully, he ran his hands through Time's hair.

As he was looking at Time's face up close, Time slowly opened his eyes. Time was shocked when he saw Tay right in front of him, he thought that he was dreaming so he hugged him. Tay was shocked when Time hugged him but he didn't stop him.

"Is this a dream? Are you really in front of me?" Time asked

Tay opened his mouth to answer Time but even before he could say something Time cut him off

"Even if it's a dream I don't mind, I just want this dream to go on forever" Time said and hugged Tay tighter

Tay didn't know what to do so he just sat there frozen like a statue. After a while, Time broke the hug and looked at Tay again

"Are you really here?" Time said with a sad smile

"Yes" Tay said and looked at Time

"You are finally back" Time said, with tears in his eyes. Tay helped him sit up straight and put the tray in front of him

"Time eat this you need to take your medicine" Tay said

"I'll eat if you feed me" Time said with a smile

Tay sighed and pick up the spoon with the porridge, he blow it to cool it off and put the spoon in front of Time's mouth. Time opened his mouth and ate the porridge, Time ate everything Tay feed him.

After Time ate everything Tay stood up to leave but Time hold his hand and stopped him

"Tay where are you going?" Time said

"I'm leaving Time" Tay answered

"But...." Time said and stopped

"But what Time?" Tay asked

"Are you gonna come back?" Time said  looking down at his lap

"I'm not Time" Tay said

"Ohh" Time said and let go of Tay's hand. Tay looked at Time who looked dejected, Time looked up at Tay

"Okay, if you wanna go then I can't stop you" Time said

"Ummm" Tay said and started walking away. He reached the door when Time called for him

"Tay"

"Hmmm" Tay said and turned around

"Tay can I touch your belly once" Time requested

Tay looked down at his belly and then again at Time

"If you don't want then it's fine" Time said

"No it's fine you can touch it" Tay said and went near Time, Tay took Time's hand and placed it on his belly.

Time looked at Tay with wide eyes and tears started falling from his eyes again. He hugged Tay's waist and kissed his belly

"Hi baby" he said "I'm your dad, how are you? You are fine right. I know you are all right because your mom is taking  care of you and because your mom is the best. He will take really good care of you. I wish I had known about you sooner but it's still fine, I know now. I promise you that you will be the most loved child ever. I will take care of you even if it's from a far. I will be the best dad for you, I couldn't be the best boyfriend but I will surely try to be the best dad, I promise" Time said

Time kissed the belly again and then let go of Tay.

"Time"

"Hmmmm"

"The promise"

"Sorry Tay, I did this. I know that you don't want me to be a part of your life and I understand that but I atleast want to be able to take care of my child" Time said

Tay panicked and touched his belly, Time sensed the panick in Tay's boby

"Don't worry I won't try to take the baby away from you but atleast can I take care of you? Can I go to the doctor's appointment with you? Can I buy my baby clothes? Can I do that Tay? Will you allow me to do that? I promise I won't ever cross the line. I won't ever do a thing that will hurt you, please" Time cried and begged Tay.

Tay looked at Time's pathetic state and remembered the things the doctor told him.

"Time" he called

Time looked up to see Tay's face

"I will let you do all that you asked but you have to do one thing for me" Tay said

"What do I have to do tell me? I will do anything, anything you want" Time said

"You have to take care of your health. You have to start eating again, you have to stop over working ok" Tay said

"Ok I'll do everything you said, everything.  Will you allow me to take care of my child" Time asked

"Ok I will let you" Tay said

"Thank you Tay, thank you" Time said and hugged Tay

"Time...."

"Hmmmm"

"I have to go now" Tay said

"Ohh ok" Time said and let Tay go.

"Take care Time" Tay said and left.  He entered his car and drove off. He knew that maybe his decision was wrong but it was the only thing that he could think of to help Time, but it doesn't mean that he has forgiven Time for what he did.

It's just that he couldn't see Time in that condition and if letting him near his baby panda 🐼 is the only solution then so be it.  And it's also beneficial for his baby panda now his baby can feel the love of its father.
