He opened the door to his house and greeted his exasperated mother, who soon started to expertly rant ,while making it seem like it was his fault, about trying so hard only for him to get disappointed, to stop trying for the hero course.
Time and time again he had said he wasn't going for the hero course but rather the business course so that he could have UA on his resume. As a Quirkless man having any good school would bring work much easier then without, the best being UA, he would be treated as close to a normal quirk user as he could.
He had planned this out for years, and still no one seems to understand what he's saying. Especially his overbearing mother. Though she actually heard more words then not from him. He slipped by as she rushed out the door to her work, slamming it in frustration as she left, soon leaving the teen in the quiet comfort of his apartment. He soon started to hum, cooking up a bowl oof instant ramen and drudging his way to his cave dwelling.
Briefly, he stared to the ceiling of his blank room thoughtfully. He could check his stocks but he was far to tired at the moment, he couldn't feel his arms and legs at this point, completely wasted. So all that was left to do was think. Think as hard as he could on what the hell was going on.
Sure bakugo didn't listen to him, just like all the teachers and bullies at his middle school, but he's never had someone like all might talk to him so kindly, yet still completely ignoring what he said.
Izuku didn't interact with adults often, brief moments at the convenience store or a wave on the train a time or two, but never really having a conversation with another human being who didn't know of his Quirkless status.
Now that he was speaking with all might...
His brain started to spin with complex cogs and bobs all simultaneously working to create a solution to this very odd problem.
What the hell is happening, and why was he the only one who was seemingly not fully effected his mother? Has this been happening his whole life or was it something that started just recently? If so how recently?
Why couldn't anyone hear what he wanted to say?
Why was he so...
Izuku felt a chill go down his spine, realizing if this had been happening his whole life, was what he was saying being filtered through some- twisted hero loving maniac?!
He wasn't going to sleep tonight that's for sure.

Izuku coughed harshly, trying to spit out what he just accidentally swallowed.
He just ate someone else's hair.
Izuku felt sick.
All might kept talking as if Izuku wasn't on the cusp of throwing up his breakfast and lunch at once. As if he wasn't hunched over on the ground trying to pull what was just shoved down his throat out.
His growing resentment just got a jump cable, and he felt the electric will of scorn flaring in his heart.
