The crisp autumn air hung in the atmosphere as Lee Yeo Reum strolled down the west side of the campus. The sun, positioned high in the noon sky, cast a radiant glow over the surroundings, accentuating the highs and lows of the season. Despite the calendar marking it as fall, the weather seemed to defy expectations, and Yeo Reum couldn't help but voice her discontent.

"So hot... Why is it so hot in fall?" she grumbled, shielding her eyes from the bright sunlight. Her steps quickened, attempting to escape the unexpected warmth, until something caught her attention.

"Oh?" Her gaze fixed on a familiar figure.

There, seated on the staircase of the lecture building, was Kim Wook. Engrossed in webcomics and leisurely sipping an iced coffee, he seemed blissfully unaware of Yeo Reum approaching.

"Hey!" Yeo Reum exclaimed, materializing beside Wook with an impish grin.

"You scared me!" Wook responded, momentarily startled. Before he could react, Yeo Reum deftly took the drink from his hand.

"Let me have a sip." Her eyes sparkled mischievously.

In a sigh of relief, Yeo Reum savored the cold beverage, finding solace from the unexpected heat. "Kyaaaa! Your coffee is just the best!"

Wook, blushing lightly, observed his straw adorned with a lipstick mark. Lost in his thoughts, he was snapped back to reality as Yeo Reum addressed him again.

"Hey, are you with me?"

"What... Yeah," Wook replied, realizing he hadn't been fully present in the conversation.

"Why is the weather like this in fall?" Yeo Reum frowned, resting her chin in her hands.

"I know... I want my break back."

"Me, too... I want to skip class and go hang out somewhere nearby." Wook's eyes lit up at the prospect.

"You, too? Should we go? This weather is forcing us to go have fun," Yeo Reum suggested, a smirk playing on her lips.

Kim Wook, delighted by the idea, smiled in agreement. "So, you studied hard when it was cold?"

He received a blank stare from Yeo Reum. "You're not one to judge, Yeo Reum."

"At least I don't blame the weather," she retorted. "I'm just saying..."

"Argh.. I really don't want to go to class..." Wook confessed, his reluctance evident.

Yeo Reum, checking her watch, realized she was running late. "Oh! I'm late for class! See you later!" With that, she hurriedly made her way to the lecture hall.

"What? Okay..." Wook mumbled to himself, left alone with his thoughts. Leaning forward to sip his drink, he couldn't help but imagine Yeo Reum kissing him – an indirect kiss that lingered in his thoughts.

He continued to stare at the drink, lost in his thoughts, until Yeon Woo abruptly appeared beside him.

"What are you doing?"

"Ah... Nothing..."

"Let me have a sip," Yeon Woo requested, reaching for Wook's drink. However, Wook snatched it away protectively.

"It's mine!"
