"and that girl making necklaces over there? see her? yeah, that's eden bexley; the queen of pogues—as jj so kindly named her.  always making jewelry of some sort or saving the turtles with kie and all that environmental shit.  definitely the care free one of us, even compared to jj.  anyway, i met her in third grade—she was selling bracelets at recess for a dollar, and of course i had to get one for myself.  i actually still have it, if you wanted to know—and she's been my ride or die ever since.  never been anything more than friends, and never will be—not like she's interested in us anyway.  she's a borderline kook, one foot in each land and has plenty of men in the sea. i don't know why she decided to join me anyway—a poor kid barely making it in the cut—but, i don't think us pogues would be the same without her and her motherly heart.  eden kind of has that effect on people."
