Barry got arrested and I went to CCPD to see Barry

I walked inside the interrogation room and saw Barry

What the hell Barry. I said

I didn't do anything. He said

I know that Barry but why the hell did you not run? I asked

Because there was no point. He said

You are too good of a man to be in jail Barry. I said

I know you're mad but don't do anything stupid Alex, promise. Barry said

I'm not going to promise that. I said

Alex if you do something stupid you could end up in jail, do you here me? Barry asked and I looked at him

You didn't kill DeVoe so you don't need to go to jail. I said

It doesn't matter. Barry said

It matters to me Barry you're my brother I promised mom I would protect you from everything and everyone. I won't lose you now just because of some old guy who is framing you. I said

Then after that I walked out and I went to star Labs

Then Cisco said he hacked into the ankle monitors GPS

That's not the only thing Cisco hacked. When Alex came out of the speed force, he was talking gibberish at CCPD. He said something about Barry not killing anyone and that it was him. Iris said

I digitally scrubbed a video. Last thing we want is somebody hearing something we don't want them to hear. Cisco said and showed a video of me

Your Honor, he's innocent. He didn't do this. He didn't kill anyone. It was me it did it. The video then stopped

I don't remember saying any of that. I said

You don't? Harry asked

No. I said

We should look at everything else he said when he first came out of the speed force. Might give us a clue. Harry said

That's a good idea. Joe said

Okay, guys, but remember, I mean kind of considering all the evidence they have against me, this trial is not even going to last very long. Barry said

Okay, but with Cecile taking a leave of absence to represent you, you got the best lawyer in town. Caitlin said

Yeah. Barry said

I mean, even if they did find you guilty, it's not like any prison can hold you. Cisco said

Well, I'm not gonna run. I won't be a fugitive.  If I'm convicted, I have to go to prison. Barry said and I scoffed

Look, Alex I know you don't agree with any of this but this is better than me running for the rest of my life. Barry said

Your right I don't agree with any of this because it seems like you don't care about how we would feel if you went to jail. I said

Just like after we beat Savitar you were gonna sacrifice yourself and you didn't give a damn about how we felt, about how I felt about you leaving me. I said

Because I am protecting you all. Barry said

I don't need your protection Barry, I just need my little brother. I said

Well right now we need to focus so stick to the plan. Barry said

No, screw you and your plan Barry if I get the chance to stop you from going to jail I will take it with or without all of you. I said and then I found myself stuck in the pipeline

I'm sorry Alex but you are way too dangerous to be out in the real world right now. Barry said

Screw you! I'm trying to help you not go to jail and you lock me up. I said

I'm protecting the city away from you, because I know you Alex if you go out there you might kill people and that wouldn't be helping me, that would be you finally turning into what I know you truly are on the inside. Barry said and I leaned against the wall looking at him

And what is that? I asked

A killer, i knew that after you killed Savitar you would never be the same and I was right. Barry said

A part of me is sad that you're going to jail, but another part is very happy because I'll finally get rid of your shit. I said and he shut the doors and when I couldn't see him anymore I sat down

I was still in a cell when the door opened and through the glass door I saw Caitlin

Hey. She said and she was holding two big belly burger bags

Is that for me? I asked

Both of us actually but you mainly. She said and opened the glass door and came and sat next to me

What makes you think I won't run out of here? I asked as she got the food out the bags and I also saw two water bottles

You can I won't stop you, but you need to know something. She said

Barry was found guilty, I kinda figured. I said

How many years did he get? I asked

He got life, I'm sorry Alex. She said

I'm positive you saw mine and his argument from earlier so I don't care about Barry getting sent to jail. I said

You don't mean that. Caitlin said

Yeah I do Caitlin he didn't care about me so I don't care about him. I said

Your mom told you to protect Barry and to always be by his side. Caitlin said

Well my mom never cared about me she loved Barry because he wanted to be a scientist like her and I wanted to be a artist and an athlete, my parents thought I was a disappointment. I said

No they didn't, your parents loved you. She said

Can we stop talking about them, you came to eat dinner with me, not to lecture me. I said

Everyone was thinking about you staying in the cell for another day to cool off fully. Caitlin said

I don't care. I said and started eating
