"Let me get this right..." – trailed Arash – "you are Bruce's cousin?" – he asked to the woman on the table
"That's right" – said Jennifer with a smile
"And you two were contacted by Danny Rand who financed The Defenders compound where you guys work and because he somehow knows my friend Eddie?" – Asked Arash
"Pretty much" – said Foggy
"Huh...okay" – said Arash nodding his head – "I gotta say, I didn't expect you guys, my family have a personal lawyer that works for us on this kind of situations, however she is in Persia, so I guess you guys are here for a quicker solution" – he added to explain them
"You don't want us here?" – Asked Matt confused
"No, I mean yes, I'm glad you guys are here, just didn't expect it, but I'm grateful that you guys came to help me" – said Arash
"How much did you tell them before we came here?" – Asked Jennifer
"Nothing, I was just trying to brush him off me, that agent that was talking to me kinda annoys me and if you guys want to know, I'm not guilty for what I'm being charged for" – answered Arash to the trio
"You have to explain us well the situation, because the reports even it has a lot of explanations about the case, there are some plot holes around them" – said Foggy
"Let me start by saying that...the reports are kind of truth but not in the way they are putting it for me" – started to say Arash – "it may look like I attacked innocent people on my party, but my powers don't come from me and they were being used by someone else" – he explained
"Used by someone else?" – Asked Jennifer confused
"A voodoo witch that seem to have knowledge of how the powers of my family worked, however it turned out that my family ring, where my powers come from, was possessed by an ancient creature because of some events that happened before with my father and uncle, she knew how to control the creature and used my ring and powers to summon it" – explained Arash
"Ok...that's...I didn't understand a thing about that" – said Foggy
"I know it's really complicated and sounds like a lot of crap, but it is what it is, my powers ended up controlled by someone else at the party and used to make everybody including me pass out to kidnap me" – explained Arash
