my insecurities hold me back
i fear that i'm not good enough
and that you might leave me for someone else
i worry that i'm not as smart and funny
or as pretty as other girls
i fear that i will never measure up
and that i'll lose you to someone better
but despite my doubts and fears
i know that i truly love you
and i will do everything in my power
to make you happy and
to keep you by my side
i promise to be honest and to trust,
