Farrah sat in her living room, in an oversized t shirt and some tube socks, on the couch staring out the windows as the rain poured down outside. She loved her apartment the most on days like this. On one side of her apartment it was nothing but windows.

She hated herself for wondering what Sabien was doing at the moment. She rolled her eyes thinking his ass is probably entertaining that horse mouth ass waitress. She quickly stood up, and walked to her kitchen to fix herself a glass of wine, when someone knocked on her door. Who the fuck? She thought as she walked towards the door to look out of her peephole "speak of the devil and he will appear" she mumbled as she opened the door to a smiling Sabien. "How the hell did you get in the building?" He shrugged "I have my ways."
He looked past me into my house "oh you trying to come in?" She said crossing her arms over her chest. "I got food" He said with a smirk holding up a bag. "I'm not hungry" Farrah's stomach chose that moment to growl embarrassingly loud. He quirked a brow up like seriously "Come on in" she said as she walked away from the door and back over to the couch to sit down.
Sabien's POV
I got up this morning on a mission. First I had to handle a few work related issues with a shipment that was supposed to be here last night, but never showed up. I spent the majority of my morning trying to figure out where my shit was. After making a few not so subtle threats I was promised it would be in no later than noon. As I was walking into Farrah's building Ahkim (aka AK) had text me and let me know it had arrived.
After I got off the phone I ordered Farrah's favorite food and went and picked it up and now here I am. I watched as she walked away from the door in an oversized shirt and socks and bit my lip. "Damn" I mumbled to myself she turned and looked at me as she sat on the couch in the middle of a bunch of school books and said "did you say something?"
"Hmm oh nah" I quickly shook my head as I placed the food on the table and moved a few books to sit next to her. "So what brings you by in the rain...unannounced?" I shrugged "I was just in the neighborhood" she smiled with a disbelieving expression "riiiight." I looked around at her place "I like your setup." I said even though I already knew how she was living. I owned the damn building. Of course she didn't know that.
With what she gets paid in this city, she would have been living dead center of the ghetto, and I have way too many enemies to leave her exposed like that. When Rome told me that Stacie told him she was having trouble finding a place in her budget. I made up a flier that advertised this apartment, that would normally rent for $2500 a month, as $800. I knew she wouldn't just accept my help so I had to do what I had to do.
I text my landlord her picture and told him to be expecting her, had my lawyer write up a lease agreement with the cost I said, and she had a place that was secure, and I didn't have to worry about her, by the end of the day. "Thanks. I know it's nothing like you and Rome's place but it's comfortable and I don't hear gun shots at night." She said with a nervous laugh breaking me out of my thoughts.
