Chapter 2- Disaster

My mom had everything planned she and my step dad had bought the tickets and everything was going well until I remembered I didn't have somewhere to stay

I wasn't gonna stay at my dads house with his family not that it was a bad thing or anything but I didn't want to stay at his house when he doesn't even care about his own children

"Mom " I looked up at her

"Mm" 

"Where will I be staying ?

"Well I was thinking and talked to my friend kare-

*I throw a pillow  at her *

"Mom.. tell me you did not talk to Lorenzo's  mom into me staying with them "
...

"Mom"

"Ok look I didn't know where else you didn't wanna go with your dad and your grandparents don't come back to town until Saturday

I groan

" oh I have an idea why don't I just stay with Sofia and Mateo I'm pretty sure their parents won't mind

"Sweetie I already talked with Lorenzo's mom and she agreed and said you're very welcomed whenever into her house plus you know she's my friend

"I wouldn't want to make me look bad with a friend by canceling

"Yeah.. you're right

I think to my self what will happen when I get there , I mean I'm pretty sure my family and friends will be happy I'm back but I can't help to think about Lorenzo how much has changed .. it's been 10 years since we last saw each other  I was 7 and he was 8
What will happen when he sees me ...
Will he be happy to see me again ? Does he even remember me

Never mind I probably shouldn't stress about it I'm going back to reunite with friends and family

*my mom taps my head *

"What's going on in that little head of yours

"I don't know, what if things aren't the same as they used to be .

"Ofc they won't be the same sweetheart you  guys have grown up a lot has changed 

"Yeah I know 

"You excited to go back ?

"Yeah

" remember you can always come back whenever you want ok sweetie ? Pls don't feel forced to go

" I just wanted to give you a surprise isn't that what you wanted

"Im happy mom thank you ,I say as I  hug her

" I love you baby always remember that I'm going to miss having you around, your siblings are already living on their own and now my youngest daughter leaves , she says.

Aww mom don't cry pls you're gonna make me cry too , I laugh

We both laugh

" well you should probably go to sleep Vale you have to wake up early tomorrow remember Karen and her husband are going to go pick you up

"You know maybe Lorenzo will give you a very warm welcome home , she winks at me

"MOMMM!! , I blush
"Stop thinking that stuff nothing is gonna happen,  even if we're still friends we haven't contacted or talked in so long 

I won't lie I have stalked his mom a couple of times on Facebook just to see what they are up to but like not for any other reasons  can't lie tho he definitely had a glow up not saying he was never unattractive but can't say he is .. well maybe he's a little cute  well that's beside the point 

I yawn ," I should go to bed

"Okay sweetie goodnight ,she kisses my head as I get up from her bed 

When I get to my room and close the door I go to the bathroom to change into  my blue sink pijamas and brush my teeth

When I go back to my room I turn on my lamp and click the light switch off as i get to bed  , I quickly put my alarm for 5:00am and get to bed 
And go to sleep

Here comes the ball catch it  , I laugh as I throw it in his direction  he catches the ball and soon starts chasing after me so I run and run and run until my feet hurt and I fall into the grass laughing until my stomach hurts when I sit up and turn to my side there he is with that perfect smile like always , "vale, he says "yes?  "Promise me when we're older we will fall in love and live our happily ever  after , " like in the movies ? I say " yes like in the movies I want to be your prince, he smiles at me " I promise I say as we interlock our pinkies together .
