He walks around the castle showing me the various rooms and I try to keep up with everything he's telling me. The castle is filled to the brim with other werewolves. I keep as close to Kiernan as possible. Many bow their heads as we pass.

"And this is the Blue Moon guard training facility." We walk into a huge room where a few people are training. They are the guards from earlier that surrounded me, protecting me from the hunters. They stop training and bow to their king waiting for instructions.

"Thank you, for protecting me." I do my best to smile and they don't move. I look at Kiernan and he nods to let me know it's okay.

"You can resume training," Kiernan instructs, they bow again and continue sparring with each other. I watch and analyze them. Their movements are quick and purposeful. They hold back ever so slightly so they don't land a killing blow. However, most of their moves are to disable rather than to go in for the kill.

Several weapons are aligned on the wall, including knives, swords, guns, bows, and arrows. I walk over to each of them. All of them are in fine condition.

I grab a sword that fits into my hand. I swing it around a bit. It's a bit off balance so I put it back. I go to pick up another one when a hand reaches it first.

"Be careful with that, you might hurt yourself." I turn around to a werewolf with curly black hair and brown eyes. I'd place him at about 18. I raise an eyebrow at him. I hold my hand out for the sword and motion for him to take a sword. He raises an eye at the challenge but accepts it.

The other members stopped sparring and formed a circle around us. Kiernan looks at us in interest weighing us as do the others.

I circle him and he starts to do the same. Growing impatient he swings first. I block him and counter with a blow of my own. He blocks and we go back and forth blow for blow. My arms vibrate from the impact of the blades. I hold a strong stance.

I study his movements, primarily defending so I can watch for a pattern. Eventually, I see an opening and take it, his sword clatters to the floor and I point the tip at his neck.

I offer my hand which he takes and I pull him up. I put my sword back on the wall and he growls in frustration.

"Thank you. What's your name?" I haven't used a sword or had a sparring partner in 2 years. It was nice to practice.

"Carter, Luna," he goes to the other side of the gym with his sword and starts practicing with a dummy. I didn't get a chance to ask him why he called me Luna.

I turn to face Kiernan and he holds out his hand. I take it and he leads me out of the training room. I wave my hands back at the guards as Kiernan drags me out of the room.

"That was nice," I say as we finish the tour. The castle was huge. After going to the Blue Moon training room, I don't remember much, maybe I'll have him give me another tour.

Kiernan was called away on pack duties and left me in my room. The same maid from this afternoon came in again to get my measurements for clothes.

Today was a lot of fun, I almost forgot about my life before and started to see a future with Kiernan, Grace, and Carter, maybe life could be different. Grace works quietly. I hiss as my head pounds from the thrashing of the wolves in my head.

"Am I hurting you?" She quickly backs away. I shake my head and rub my temples.

"No, just- thank you, Grace, I'll be okay tonight." She curtsies, and once she leaves the room I squat down on the floor with my head between my knees. The pain intensifies and I cry silently, I shift into Lily and pad about the room. I howl and the wolves go silent in my head. I shift back into my human form and go onto the balcony, letting the breeze calm me down.
