Kiernan POV

"What is it, Alpha Thomas?" I growl, how dare he interrupt my time with my mate? I'd made sure to clear my agenda today to spend time with her, and now it's been stopped short. It had better be for a good reason. He insisted that we do a video call, so I'm here in my office in front of my computer instead of walking outside enjoying the sunshine with my mate.

"I have video and witness testimony concerning the looks of Lily Midnight. She has long blue hair and wears a black cloak. She has a beautiful clip in her hair, covered in sapphires and diamonds." For a second there it sounded as though he was describing Lorena. He brings up the video and shows me a picture of the blue-haired girl with the hair clip sitting in a tree with another girl, firing a gun down at something below.

"Evelyn," I hear her whisper as the other girl tumbles out of the tree in a very similar fashion to when Lorena did when we first met. It shows the girl still in the tree looking down before she looks at the camera. I cover my mouth as Lorena stares back at me for a split second before leaping off the branch away from the camera. I stare at the screen, barely registering the words that Alpha Thomas is saying.

"Thank you, Alpha Thomas." Cutting him off, I end the call and sit back in my chair. Seriously God, is this a joke? Lorena, or should I say Lily Midnight is my mate?

"I told you it was her." Darren looks at me sympathetically. What was she thinking, she would get close to me and kill people in my pack. Did she think I would accept her as my mate and ignore everything she did in the past?

I storm out of my office and go towards Lily's room. I call the blue moon guard to meet me in her room. I don't bother knocking as I storm into her room, the guard behind me. Lily has a gun pointed toward me, probably the same one in the video. She lowers it upon seeing me and puts it away. She smiles at me, but it drops when she sees my face.

"Kiernan, what's wrong?" I stomp toward her, and she steps back. I corner her and glare at her as she shrinks into the corner of the room. She looks up at me shaking, still visibly tired from letting her second wolf out.

"Lily Midnight," I say, and she grows pale, and her eyes turn black for a minute as her wolf fights for control. When they return to their normal sapphire color, she speaks.

"What about her?" She asks gulping.

"Are you her?" She shrinks back looking even more tiny, like a child. Her lips quiver, and tears spill out of her eyes.

"My child," I hear a soft voice whisper in my head. I push it aside and continue glaring at her.

"Yes, I am" She bites out and looks me in the eye with a sad stare. I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder. She kicks and squirms, but I only hold on tighter. She fights back escaping my grip, and rolling off my shoulder. I grip her wrist tightly and shove her towards the ground, my knee on her back holding her in place, while I pull her arms behind her.

The Blue Moon Guard brings out silver handcuffs and puts them on her wrists. I jerk her up and force her to walk keeping a tight grip on her elbow. Once we get down to the dungeon, she bucks and kicks, and drags her feet, but I continue my pace, dragging her along with me. Once she's in the most secure cell I push her up against the wall so she's facing me. I hold her down, using my knees to hold her legs in place so that the guards can collect all her weapons.

It took longer than I expected and I counted 7 knives, two guns loaded, and multiple bullets. I wondered how many people she killed with these weapons. I can't believe I was so stupid, letting her keep these and not realizing how dangerous she was sooner, I let a skilled serial killer into my pack. Staring into her eyes, they're brimming with emotions. Horror, pain, sadness, fear. Tears stream down her face and I fight the urge to wipe them away.
