The day after the prank, all of the teens had almost made up. They all sat together on the beach, while Lo'ak was talking about the tulkun that saved him from death the day before. The Metkayinas, didn't approve Lo'ak's story, because he was talking about Payakan, a killer tulkun.During that talk, Fayn was sitting with Her little Tuk in her arms. She loved Tuk with her whole heart. Tuk had grown up with Fayn because the day fayn was rescued by the Sully's, she was only a toddler. Neteyam was on her side, sitting close enough to have a present touch on the girl's leg. Even if it wasn't an actual touch, it was enough for them.
At one point, Neteyam stood up to laugh at his brother's story, which ended up with Lo'ak leaving out of frustration. Everyone then got up and when to do their own things.
————————————-
At the eclipse, Tsireya took the Sully's on an adventure to the spirit tree.
The group swam trough the dark waters, lightened by the bioluminescent tree.
This tree reminded Fayn of the tree of souls in the forest. The tree that was destroyed recently by the sky people. She remembers it like it was yesterday, even tho it had been years.
It was the day she had officially lost everypiece of her family that was left.
It was gone, along with the tree.
Neteyam signed her something under the water. The had just learned the underwater sign language and it was now really handy.
You good?
She signed back.Yeah I'm ok.
She loved how he cared about her, even if nothing was happening, he felt she wasn't as well as she seemed. It was like a connection the two had. Jake says it's because they're soulmates.
Tsireya showed them how to connect to the tree, wich everyone did shortly after.
When Fayn connected her queue, she was taken to a dream.
No. A flashback.
She was 10, in her hut, getting ready for training Her mom was fixing one of her braids while humming a song.
'' Mom, what are you singing'' young Fayn asked.
'' well, Fay, I am singing your songcord. Every time I see you, I gets stuck in my head'' she responded.
'' The songcord? Is it the story of my life?'' Fayn asked.
'' Yes sweetie, one day when I will go back to Eywa, I will give you your necklace, and teach you how a songcord works. You will then make one for your childrens and your family. That is how it works'' the mom added.
The memory ended.
Fayn was tearing up. Not because of the sight of her mom, but because she didn't hear her songcord enough to remember it. And she doesn't know how to create one for her future family.
She was taken away from her nostalgia with The face of Neteyam, who seemed to panick.
Fayn didn't remember her disconnecting with the tree.
That was because Kiri did it for her. While convulsing.
She turned around and saw Kiri shaking and lighting up.
Everyone immediately took her back to the beach to get help.
——————-
Kiri was now in a stable enough condition to be in a coma. She was laying in the middle of the Sully's Marui, with Ronal, Neytiri, Fayn and Tuk watching her .
After the sky people from the forest came to try and help, Neytiri and Ronal lost patience and started to use old Na'vis healing methods.
Fayn was watching really closely every movements of the two women.
Kiri eventually woke up.
'' Kiri!'' Tuk screamed.
Fayn addressed a warm comforting smile to Kiri, before heading out to warn the others about her awakening.
When she saw Neteyam, he was sitting with Tsireya, her brother and Lo'ak.
'' hey guys, what are you talking about?'' The girl asked.
'' Well there's a party tonight, for the return of the tulkuns tomorrow. We were just talking about it. Would you like to come?'' Tsireya responded.
'' Hum, i don't really know, because I was here to tell everyone that Kiri just woke up, but I guess a small party could never hurt anyone'' stated Fayn.
She only accepted because she saw Neteyam's eyes, who were screaming for approval.
Everyone stood up after her words, to go and see Kiri.
Neteyam stood up and kissed his girl's forehead, before heading toward his Marui.
