I see you -Neteyam -

13. The bullet

Neteyam, Fayn and Lo'ak were spying on a group of human soldiers that were escorting Spider around the ship, knives all out. Fayn had found a bow and arrows, and she was determined to use them.

Neteyam turned around to face the two other teens, and whispered  a countdown. It was time to attack.

Neteyam and Lo'ak jumped down from the upper floor, while Fayn armed her bow. The boys knocked down almost every sky person, but the few they didn't get were shot by Fayn's arrows.

After all the men were down, Spider was finally free.

Fayn jumped down from her spot to join the group.

'' Fayn! Was that you shooting the arrows ?'' Spider asked.

''Yes it was me that saved your ass multiple times you didn't pay attention.'' She answered laughing.

''We need to move, fast.''Lo'ak said, cutting Spider from talking.

As he said that, one of Quaritch's man was pointing his gun right at them. He started to fire towards the group.

''Go go go!'' Neteyam screamed.

The group ran in the hallways of the ship, trying to find the ocean. Fayn felt like they were trying to escape a maze.

The avatar was still firing his gun, hitting the walls of the ship.

The avatar was getting closer and closer, too close for them to run anymore. They turned a corner and hid there, catching their breaths.

''Give me that.'' Neteyam said, taking the gun from Lo'ak's hands.

He shot a couple of bullets towards their enemy, but he missed a few of them. The only ones that touched the guy got his bulletproof vest, not making any damage to his life.

''Run!'' Fayn ordered the boys.

Spider and Lo'ak ran and dived in the near ocean, while Neteyam was assuring Fayn's back. She was walking backwards and preparing her bow to kill the guy. She pointed her arrow towards the guy, and released it.

She got him straight in the shoulder, right above his heart.

She then ran towards the opening leading the ocean, Neteyam behind her.

''Fayn!''

Right when she was about to dive, Neteyam grabbed her and pulled her on his chest protecting her from whatever danger he had noticed. He then jumped in the water with her, still holding her as close as he could.

Bullets we're still shot, even if the avatar had an arrow in his body. He needed to kill the teenagers, alive or dead.

She closed her eyes and held her breath, finally feeling the water hit her skin. She was still in Neteyam's arms, safe.

She felt Neteyam pulling her under water, trying to get her at the surface. When they finally reached it, she took the biggest breath of air she ever took in her life. She didn't know why she was that much breathless, she didn't even stay under water for that long.

She heard Spider and Lo'ak  celebrating in the distance.

''Are you okay Fay?'' She heard Neteyam say.

He looked like he was panicking. Why tho?

She needed to rest. So bad.

What was happening to her?

''Shi shit shit.'' Neteyam whispered, putting his hand on Fayn's chest.

Oh no.

''Lo'ak! Help! Fayn's shot!''
