Jj was running his hands through his beachy blonde hair clearly a nervous wreck leaning over the edge of the boat, staring at the water  as it would make the girl appear.

Gracie was under the water due to the fact that the cops were speeding towards them she had no idea what was happening above her but she also had no idea what john b was doing below Graice was glad she could make sure John b was okay but to make sure he wouldn't blow there cover John b had no idea cops were right above him on his boat

As the boat came closer to the three JJ's heart was pounding out of his chest loud enough that kie could hear his heart racing she reached her hand back slapping his shoulder telling him to act normal.

But he couldn't help not only was his best friend somewhere in the deep and murky waters but graice was also down there without an oxygen tank two of the people he cared and loved the most could be seconds away from
Being dragged away by police or being dragged out of the water dead all because of him

"Jj tie this on, " pope said passing him the rope that would connect the officer's boat to the HMS pouge "how are you kids doing?"shoupe asked the three but before any of them could get a word out he said, "you know the marsh is closed right?"

A series of no's were told to shoupe telling Him they had no idea the marsh was closed when they all knew very well it was closed out of random pope got the courage to ask why the marsh was closed which was weird coming from pope

Shoupe said they were searching for a boat little did he know they were hovering over it as they were speaking shoupe then began quizzing the three where john b was "he's at work" kie said smiling

Graice swam up to the surface her back was pressed against the back of the boat she heard shoupe asking to check out the boat she knew that she was seconds away from being caught she needed to swim deep down so she had no chance of being caught

John b had noticed the second boat when he made it to his safety stop his heart began pounding John b hated not knowing what was going he could also make out a figure bobbing in the water he held onto the line with the t-shirts with a tight grip

Graice dove so deep down into the water that her vision started to get a little fuzzy but she could make her brother out anywhere she could see his figure in the murky water making her feel so much better knowing he was safe

Gracie swam down to the safety stop she pressed her finger onto the boys lips making pointing up to the shadow of the boat. john bs heart broke he knew the girl needed oxygen he wish he could give her last bit of oxygen but he know that if he took the mask off it would just fill up with water

on the boat, the three looked at each other worriedly knowing that John b would be out of oxygen soon as soon as shoupe was out of sight they threw themselves over to the side looking for the two

Once the two saw the boat leaving they swam to the surface as fast as they could "How did it go down there?" JJ asked John b trying to play it off as he wasn't shitting himself the whole time they were down there

Jj grabbed gracies hand pulling her out of the water hugging her as total scared she would slip out of his grasp and be gone and that was jjs biggest fear losing her

"Did you find anything" Pope asked "Did I find anything?" John b restated popes question dropping a green bag on the boat then climbing onto the boat just as John b had got on the boat another boat was speeding towards them just great.
