"You brought Jj's gun?" John b asked the girl in shock "No i brought mine" the girl said like it was a normal thing to say making John b just stare at the girl.

"WHERE IS IT IS IT IN THE HOUSE OR NOT" the deep voice shouted again the three of them could hear Lana's screams

John b stood up to look through the busted window to try and see who the deep voices were immediately getting yanked down by Gracie and Jj

"So still think we shouldn't leave?" Jj asked the two with a know it all tone "we can't leave her" Graice said back to Jj getting a "are you crazy look" from both the boys

"YOU BETTER TELL ME WHERE IT IS" the same deep voice shouted again Jj began to shake Gracie interlocked her hand with his whispering that It was going to be okay

Another shatter echoed through the house shaking the wall the three were crouched behind white paint began chipping off the house landing on the three

"Is that paint?" Jj said gripping graces hand tighter "No, its snow," John b said pretending to be serious earning an eye roll from Jj and a "shut up " from Gracie

"come on lets go this was a waste of time " one man said talking to someone Gracie began to crawl over to the edge of the wall trying to get a peek at who was inside the house still holding Jj's hand forcing him to follow her

Jj started at john b with wide eyes scared that they were going to be caught "we need to go like now" Jj said pulling Gracie into him then giving john b the chance to get a look at who the two where

as soon as john b peered his head out from behind the wall just seconds later slamming himself into the wall getting a look at who the two where just as they were exiting the house

"you do know i could easily just shoot the two of them instead of us all hiding behind a wall"
Gracie said pretending to shoot the men with the gun

"And you think I'm insane?" John asked Gracie shaking his head "Those were the guys that shot at us yesterday" John b said watching the two men get into their truck and drive off

The three walked into the house looking around for Lana the house had been destroyed the two men searching for something very important clearly

They all called out to Lana trying to find her through all the disaster finally finding her crouched in a corner shaking and sobbing

Gracie sat on the floor beside Lana trying her best to comfort her gracie sat there trying to fight the urge to not hug lana she didn't want to scare her more so she sat there with tears falling out of her eyes

"uh I think we should call the sheriff's department," John b said "No cops please!" Lana said sobbing, even more, looking around at the three of them."hey Lana it's okay we're not going to call the cops," Gracie said trying to calm Lana looking at John b and Jj both of them nodding their heads in agreement

"Come on let's go, "JJ said grabbing John b and reaching his hand out for Gracie. Gracie didn't want to leave Lana because she knew how it felt to be so scared "you shouldn't be here!" Lana started to yell at the three

"Come on we need to go now!" Jj said putting his hands on both sides of Gracie's waist pulling her up at ease "Wait hold on" John b said getting closer to Lana "what do you know about those men?" John b asked "there were looking for something" Lana said sniffling

John b reached his hand in his pocket and pulled the rusty gold compass out "Is it this?do you know about this?"John b asked her shoving the compass in her face lanas face dropping

"This was my father's scooter had it but why?" John b asked Lana frantically

"scooter didn't have it but whatever you do don't tell anyone you have that they can't know you have it you need to leave now!" Lana sobbed

"John b we really need to go" Gracie said shaking his shoulder "yeah we do come on"
Jj said dragging the two out of the house

running to the beat up twinkie and speeding off "she for sure knew" john b said looking at both his bestfriends

Gracie sighed knowing things would only get crazier from here
