Subject: Locust
I have been tasked with researching and analyzing the Locust by Colonel Hoffman and Chairman Prescott. Taking in field data from Gears and formulating the best possible countermeasures against the Horde.
The Locust Horde is a collective of mixed species home to the Hollow. Sometimes called, "Grubs" by both Gears and Stranded alike. They are very mysterious to us, but they seem to have a civilization with a hierarchy and military similar to ours. However, that is all we know of them.
Their main tactic is to tunnel underground to take advantage of our inability to detect them. Even after all these years, we have not developed something to counter that.
As I have said before we do not know much of the Locust but perhaps future operations will shed some light on this vile threat upon us.
The only advice I can give at this moment is to stay vigilant.
