Everything Has Changed

Prologue

"Are you ready to go home tomorrow?"

Lumingon ako sa kanya nang bigla siyang mag salita. I smiled while packing my things. Tomorrow is our flight to Philippines, finally after two years here in New York, we're finally going home for our term.

"Of course, we're going to see our family and friends again after two years! Can't you believe that?!" I happily said. "But still, I'm going to miss New York, our memories together here, and of course our condo. So much memories to be left behind."

He chuckled and hugged me behind. "No memories will be left here, babe, because our memories together here... Will still be with us, in our hearts."

"Corny mo, HAHAHA," I laughed at his face.

"Minsan na nga lang maging romantic, panira ka pa," he rolled his eyes on me which made me raised my eyebrow.

"Hindi ka naman mabiro, just fix your things na lang." Sabi ko at tinuloy ang pag ayos sa mga gamit ko.

After we fixed our things, lumabas kami para bumili ng mga pasalubong pag uwi namin sa Pilipinas. We're currently here at mall, we're just roaming around to see what can we buy for them. Raze excused himself because someone called him on the phone, he left me here at the toys shop.

Nilibot ko ang tingin sa shop, puro toys and stuffed animal. Nag ikot-ikot lang ako dito sa loob, kinuha ko yung Pikachu na stuffed animal. It's cute but something caught my attention, I walked towards that aisle and picked up that stuffed animal. This aisle is a We Bare Bears toys, and the one that I am holding is Ice Bear.

I don't know but this remind me of someone. So I decided to buy Ice Bear and Pikachu, after I payed lumabas na ako and sakto dahil papalapit na dito si Raze.

"Sorry, babe, natagalan. May minor problem lang," he said and kissed my head. He looked at my hand when he noticed I was holding a bad. "What did you buy? Let me carry that for you."

"Thanks, babe. It's stuffed toys for me and for my friends." I said and smiled. Then we left the shop to roam around again.

Though I did buy Pikachu for myself, but I don't kung kanino ko ibibigay si Ice Bear. None of my friends were into We Bare Bears. I decided to just keep it and just ask them if they want to have it.

When we got home, nag pahinga lang kami saglit and then kumain for dinner. We slept early so that we won't be late for our flight tomorrow. When I woke up, wala na si Raze sa tabi ko. I heard the sound of the shower so he's already taking a shower, obviously. I just ate bread para hindi na ako mag luto pa. Nang matapos na si Raze, ako naman ang naligo. Hindi na ako nag tagal sa bathroom, after I took a shower, I put my clothes on and ready my things.

Nang wala na kaming nakalimutan sa loob, dumeretso na kami sa airport. I don't how many minutes or hours passed, I just know that we're already inside the airplane, and we're already landing. For some reason, my heart started pounding so fast... Maybe because I'm going to see my friends and family.

I felt a warm hand on mine. I looked at Raze, he looked worried. He squeezed my hand. "You okay? You look nervous."

"Yes, babe, I'm fine." I smiled to assure him.

When the plane finally landed, everyone started to stand to get their things. We waited and get our things and get out of the plane. Raze hold my hand so I looked up to him, he smiled so did I. Sabay kaming nag lakad at bumaba sa plane, nang makapasok na kami sa airport agad naman namin sila nakita.

There it is again, my heart started to pound again, this time it was faster than earlier. I started to inhale and exhale to make my breathing stable.

"OMG! Ang maganda kong kaibigan!" Malakas na sabi ni Clea. Kaya may ibang mga tao na napalingon sa gawi namin.

"Kahit kailan walang pinagbago yang bibig mo," sabi naman ni Mark. Humarap siya sa akin at ngumiti, akmang yayakapin niya na sana ako nang may humila ng damit niya. "Aray!"

"Mamaya ka na, ako muna. Welcome back, anak ko!" Si Kira ang unang yumakap sa akin, niyakap ko naman siya pabalik. "Pasalubong ko, ah?"

"Kira, let her parents hug her muna. Ano ka man!" Saway ni Vana.

"Mom! Dad!" I hugged Mom and Dad when I saw them behind my friends, they hugged me back. I saw Tita Lana and Tito Edward behind them. "Tita, tito." I hugged them, too.

"Finally! After two years, staying strong pa rin kayo ng anak ko," masayang sabi ni Tita kaya ngumiti ako.

"Syempre naman, Mom. Pakakawalan ko pa ba 'to," biro ni Raze saka ako kinindatan kaya siniko ko siya. "What?"

"Erm..."

Lumingon ako sa gilid ko ng may umubo. I frowned when I saw a stranger beside may parents, suddenly, all of them went quiet. She was looking down so I can't see her face clearly, but when she looked up, she looked a bit shocked when she noticed that we're all looking at her.

She has this intimidating aura, she looks unapproachable because of how she looks at people. I noticed that she was holding something behind her, when she looked right to me, I gulped because of the way she stared.

"Uhh..." She looks awkward. "I..."

"I'm sorry, who are you?" I asked.
