(Y/N) was now on the verge of tears and now she is watching the Witch with Toto in her arms, petting him. "What a nice little dog." She then put him in a basket behind her and faced you. "And you, my dear, what an unexpected pleasure! It's so kind of you to visit me in my loneliness."

You started to back away and tried to get the basket that Toto was in but the monkey squeaked at you. You turned back to the witch. "What are you going to do with my dog? Give him back to me!" You said, shaking.

"All in good time, my little pretty, all in good time." The witch said.

"Please, give me back my dog." You pleaded.

"Certainly, certainly... when you give me those slippers." The wicked witch said.

"But the Good Witch of the North told me not to." (Y/N) said, looking at the slippers on her feet and that didn't pleased the wicked witch.

"Very well." She looked at the monkey and command. "Throw that basket in the river and drown him!"

You immediately stopped her, "No! No. No. Here. You can have your slippers, but give me back Toto!" You bargained a deal.

"That's a good little girl. I knew you'd see reason!" The witch said, she kneels to grab the slippers but the slippers sparked her hands and it hurt her hands.

You got scared by it, "I'm sorry, I didn't do it. Can I still have my dog?" You apologized and asked quite scared.

"No! Fool that I am, I should have remembered... those slippers will never come off, as long as you're alive. But that's not what's worrying me, it's how to do it. These things must be done delicately, or you hurt the spell." The witch said.

Toto jumps out of the basket and runs out the door. "Run! Toto run!" (Y/N) yells.

"Catch him, you fool!" The witch said.
You ran to the window and saw Toto running off. "Run, Toto! Run, Toto! Run! He got away! He got away!" You teared up and the witch got angry.

"Which is more than you will! Drat you and your dog! You've been more trouble to me than you're worth... but it'll soon be over now!" The Witch threatens and she picks up a large hourglass and you had tears in your eyes. "Do you see that? That's how much longer you've got to be alive! And it isn't long, my pretty, it isn't long! I can't wait forever to get those shoes my feet are itching! I'll be back, in exactly an hour, to claim what is mine." She ran out and locked the door.

You ran to the door, shaking and fidgeting the door. Then (Y/N) slowly backed away from the door. "I'm not going to cry... I'm not going to cry, I-I'm not going to cry! Oh, why did I ever leave home?" You asked yourself and got down the steps. "What was it that I was looking for that I couldn't find there? If I could only lie down and sleep... My poor shabby little bedroom. I used to hate it, but... Oh what I wouldn't give for it now. That counterpane upon my bed, the flaking plaster overhead... How I miss it now."
