The next day Natalie went to school. Nate tried getting up without waking her up, but he failed. He then tried to get her to skip, and it would be okay but again, he failed. That's the one and only thing he hates about Natalie.

She hates her feelings. No matter what happens if she cries it only until the next day. Then she acted like nothing was wrong. Like nothing happened. It took a lot to make her talk about one thing that happened to her for more than a day. It had to be bad. Really bad.

That's what happened when her dad died. She cried in her mother's arms and the next day she did what she did today.

She got up, showered, put on makeup to cover up her puffy eyes, got dressed, and never talked about it again. Except this time, she can't turn to drugs to cope like last time. She knew she would if she could, but she can't.

So, she put on a smile and pretended she was fine. And nobody would know. Nobody but Nate that is.

That same morning, Cassie decided she would start on her new plan of getting Nate to notice her. She woke up at four o'clock to get ready for school. For next 3 hours she was getting ready the only thing she could think about is how happy she would be when she finally had Nate to herself.

She did dress differently than usual she dressed more up than usual, did her hair in a style she had never done and did less makeup. And at school she walked past Nate with confidence. He saw her but ignored her.

The next morning, she did the same thing. Woke up at 4 AM. Showered, exfoliated, shaved, skin care, make-up, hair, and got dressed. She went as far as putting on fake bangs. She was standing with Maddy smiling in Nate's direction. And again, he saw her but ignored her. Cassie's smile fell when she saw Natalie walk up to Nate and kiss him.

The next morning, she did it again. And like the last 2 days Nate saw her but ignored her and went straight to Natalie who was with Maddy.

The next morning, she did it again. But instead, she decided to dress like Natalie. She wore a blue and white plaid dress the was opened in the front and closed in the back, with white sneakers. Her haired was curled and she had a light make up on.

She walked past Nate on the stairs, and he looked at her. She felt happy. She got his attention. What she didn't know was Nate had just come from talking with Natalie who was wearing the same outfit. He didn't think she would go as far and dressing like his girlfriend.

Natalie was wearing the blue plaid dress she wore the night of the carnival, with white sneakers. That was her favorite dress she was glad it fit her. Her hair was curled, and she had light makeup on.

Cassie walked down the stairs and walked down the hallway with a smile on her face. When she walked through the double doors, and she was met with Natalie and Maddy. Cassie looked at her and Natalie's outfits.
