OVER AND OVER AGAIN
"my love for you is deep and true
but one day, you felt that our love was through
you wanted to leave and walk away
yet my heart couldn't bear the thought of that day
i fought for us with all my might
i could never give you up without a fight
i told you of my love and my pain
and how together, we could weather any rain
we talked as i cried and held onto you tight
and slowly but surely, things began to feel right
we worked through all our fears and doubts
and then again, renewed our love that couldn't be washed out
now we stand together, stronger than before
our love has been tested, but it still holds the core
we've come out together on the other side
with a love that will forever abide"
this is how i want us to be,
forever i hope it's just you and me.
