"Mel honey are hungry " melz asked
"Yea a little " I said
"Ok what do you want " melz asked
"Mexican food" I said
"Ok ima be back call me if anything " melz said then she walked out
20 minutes later
I was on my phone talking to notti when the nurse came in " Melani someone is here to see you"
"Who" I asked
"Your dad" the nurse said
"Wtf ...... ima call you back notti " I hung up the phone
"Melani" Chris said as he walked in
"Yes" I said
"I wanted to come say I'm sorry for leaving you after all the things that happened to you these past years " Chris said
"I mean now you say sorry when I'm in the hospital you left me even when you knew I got out you could've came to me and been said sorry " I said tearing up
"Listen I wanted to and trust me you was always on my mind but when me and your mom divorced because she started drinking again I left and once I found out she passed I couldn't keep myself together and I didn't wanna come to you all messed up but you need a parent love in your life I left you once and I don't wanna do that again can I get another chance to make it up to you and be an actual parent to you" my dad said
"Yea I guess you had your problems and I appreciate you coming to me as a parent I'll like for you to be back in my life butttttt I'm still living with my friends I'm not moving out " I said
"Yea ok that's fine with me I can come visit you and once you able to leave I wanna take you out to eat or something " my dad said
"Ok" I said
We talked for about five more minutes then he left and melz came back
"Who was that man " melz walked in
"That was my dad he came to apologize for leaving me " I said
"He left you " melz was confused because I never told her my back story
"Yea him and my mom was doing drugs when I was younger so I lived with my grandma but once she passed I got into a foster home but once my parents came back to realization that I need them they got me back but yk once I started my ways with dd and the rest of them I went to juvie and once I got out I found out my momma passed and basically my dad didn't want anything to do with me " I said
