I adore.

who are you?
my sweet child of the beyond
you carry the stars
and wander the skies
out of blissful summer, you walk
with skin woven of rainfall
glistening in my awe

what are you?
my sweet child of the beyond
you walked out of a summer sun
yet you carry such sorrow
all the Gods kneel
and the Goddesses cry out
"Give us all!"
They say, "give us all."

where do you go?
such woeful child, oh my
your creatures, all,
are driven in anguish
they yowl, drool and scurry
but your gaze is distant
they never leave your feet
never

what are you watching?
such a woeful child, oh my
"my mother is dainty," you say
"like one of the river."
are you from the past
or from the future born spring?
or do your feet curl
in today's grassland mud?
