a dead star that rents light to survive
burning with nothing of all — smell like deprived
trying to caress some fragments or anything that can revive
something is growing on the raw wound; it exists & thriving to live

combatting the whispers of the monsters — too bad, they won
the soul is drowning & way too done
too much of nothing, many are undone
could they take a glance at me? guess not, their words never outrun

feigning a face is exhausting
gullible is all they glimpse, on the contrary, know all the stares that are unrewarding
seen it all — it made a home of vacancy; it crawls into the skin, it keeps on haunting
strangled by the things that slip into their nasty tongue; it's like a broken old recorder that keeps on rewinding

haven't had a single idea how to end this mockery — I guess, it lived with me.
