Phillip's hands were like a puppet.

He moved slowly down the thin hallway.

He didn't want to die.

The others died.

He fell out of the clinic window.

Kristen waited.

'Did you see the girl on the bike near 1428 Elm Street. Freddy's house'.

'No'.

'She told me about it in a dream'.

'Let's go now'.

***

'Sheriff, I'm Neil Gordon. Nancy and I are working at the clinic'.

'I see'.

'We need to stop Freddy?'.

'He's dead', the Sheriff said.

'He's not dead', Neil said.

The Sheriff drank his fourth beer.

They reached the cemetery.

A Nun appeared.

'You're looking for my son'.

'Freddy was your son', the Sheriff said.

'Freddy was the bastard son of a thousand maniacs'.

'He is not dead', Neil said.

'Depends on who you speak to, Sir, Sheriff'.

'Where's the cemetery?', the Sheriff asked her.

'To the left, off Elm Street', the Nun answered.

And the Nun closed the convent door.

***

The air was cold.

The cemetery was full of the dead.

Next to it was Burt's Junkyard.

'Bury the bones over there', Neil said.

Suddenly they saw dozens of skeletons.

The Sheriff fought one of them.

Neil bashed the soil downward.

After a fight, the Sheriff fled into the night.

He left Elm Street but not before he resigned the following morning when he was sober.

Neil drove his car back to the clinic.

***

'It's over', Nancy said.

'Good. I'm sorry about your father'.

'It's fine', Nancy smiled.

They headed to his house.

***

Kristen was sad that her friends were dead.

Some were buried now in holy graves.

But, as she slept in her bed, the dollhouse window lights flickered on.
